Damn son. Imagine that Cartar Stroke being fully casted. What a broken skill imo. And that Skull Swing tho.
Sacrament is making the skill look better then it is.
So it’s really like I expected - players now prefer to cast CS without charging. Well it’s pretty obvious that you almost never get the chance to hold it till lv 15.
Also it seems like Cross Cut bug is still present - bleed debuff disappears despite timer showing 8 sec left. Taking less than 3 circles of Highlander now would be a bit unrewarding.
is holy damage really that good?
Sacrament creates a 2nd hit that can benefit from buffs like the main hit. Holy also has a 200% weakness on some monsters where most other elements were 150% i believe.
Btw I don’t really see sacrament even being activated. If anything, the fight is so laggy that some hits of Double Weapon Assault didn’t register (or at least numbers didn’t appear)
Yes, people will prefer leave it uncharged because bosses tend to move around quite frequently, luckily it can be canceled without going off cooldown, so that’s a plus. I’d like to imagine this working at party scenario, where it is safer to charge it, not fully, but halfway through, as it is enough to deal a massive damage.
The fact that the Corsair is Lv.179 while the boss is only Lv.135 might have something to do with the amount of damage dealt as well.
I tried to work out that Corsair’s skill build.
Is this right?
Kinda.
Also commenting on other’s builds is against my policy but just special for you some advice.
Don’t be afraid of putting 1 point in attack skills you don’t want to max, utility they provide is more useful than bringing 1-2 hitting moves from lv4 to lv5. /advice, try your best =ω=
The point is not the level difference. The fact that Cartar Stroke alone deals 5k ++ damage with only a single touch of charge is truly jawdropping. I’m comparing the skill with other skills that he had and used in the video fyi.
@Walkcure
Hm. That should be it, I guess? Although, I might want to leave Jolly Roger at level 1 because increasing it in level only increases its duration if I’m not wrong. Iron Hook, you should invest on it. Corsair should be a good support CC/DPS class with it. Keelhauling is optional, but I like that skill, so I’m probably going to invest on it as well lol.
@Vyrmael Fixed.
I noticed that Keep Hauling also cause Bleeding which gives additional damage for Cross Cut and Sky Liner.
Remember that Keelhauling won’t work with bosses, so you might want to adjust your build to your liking. I recommend not picking it if you’re into a PVE person.
Well, i rather have some more damage than the unlock chest skill.
It deals a lot of damage mainly because of Cartar Stroke: Collision Damage attribute. Dealing additional damage equal to 50% of your Physical Attack, and that makes a huge difference if you have a lot of Physical Attack.
If you’d drop 2 points from jolly roger you could get the bleed activation for skyliner and cross cut. And if you drop it to 1 you can make it into a good CC/damage plus bleed - your enabler - on top. But you seem not to like me so I’ll just go somewhere else
Also I think you need atleast lv2 Jolly Roger for the looting attribute if I’m not wrong about that…
Oh really? Thanks for the information. I can’t read the attribute’s description because it is in Korean x.x
What do you think? Based on what we see, Cartar Stroke is worth to have at lvl 1, 5 or 15?
I’m sure he/she has CS at lvl 15, because it’s the same character from previous videos.
Depends on how base damage and how charge increment scales with skill level. If charge bonus is significant then at least it’s worth up to lv5. After that it will be only up to what level of CS you’ll be able to land on the enemy without missing.
I’m gonna test it myself anyway soon. Luckily my build allows using fully charged CS at least in 1v1 pvp matches so I hope its gonna be fun. For me.
