if you can get an aspana with high enhancement and trans+ high attribute of pistol shot you can be useful in ET by clearing mobs. i use +11 manamana with lvl 6 red gem no trans and level 30 attribute, my pistol shot deals at least 70k-100k depend if it will crit or not.
rank 9 are either most likely Matador and Luchador. Matador are bull fighters from Spain so it will probably have to do aggro, while Luchador are Mexican wrestlers, both dont seem to be DPS oriented.
There is a slight chance of Retiarii class(uses nets) or a return of Centurion but both dont seem DPS class aswell.
Pistol shot does that much dmg? Wow that was totally unexpected , (atleast for me sorry I’m newb).
It does amazing damage, the downside is the overheat and limited availability of the skill.
Is that why I see many people go Corsair 3 builds? Interesting. On top of that, very unique gameplay… pirates!
Nah, if you’re going for dps go for dopple/fencer. We’re for that goody pillage. As for me, my personal bias would be it uses sword and pistol (personal preference).
Pistol Shot is very serious dmg. I have Stage 6 +11 Aspana Revolver and my Pistol Shot is 70-80k per tick on Glass Moles procc with a crit. About 40k without crit per hit. Comes to ~300k-400k per overheat as final dmg.
My Abdochar is also Stage 6 +11 and Hexen Dropper is 50k-60k per tick on Glass Moles. Abput 25-30k without a crit per tick.
Skills like Kunai and Double Slash leads to very great Bursts with Bunshins.
Bunshin -> Cleave -> Double Slash x3 is on one target with Glass Moles roughly 4-5 millions dmg. Might be even more - normaly i never come to use Kunai on daily stuff. Executed in a very short time window.
Speaking of a Sw3-Barb-Corsair3-Shinobi perspective.
Right now i have ~6k Mainhand ~6k Offhand dmg without Glass Moles. With Glass Moles proccs its ~10-11k both Main and Offhand. My attributes are almost lvl 90 on every skill. (Double Slash, Kunai, Hexendropper, Pistol Shot, Dust Devil)
Even before the rebalance Pistol Shot was amazing dmg wise. (At least after they gave us the Riccochet Attribute -> which was a godsend)
With high funds a Corsair is very strong. Since Pistol Shot clears mobs so fast on a big range. With a Chrono giving u pass its very good dmg. (But u need a good sword and pistol to be viable)

Sadly Corsair is very hard to gear. IMO the most important thing to aim first is an Aspana Revolver since its such s great dmg boost. High enhance and transcend means very much (Well thats for every class)
Corsair realy shines well geared. Its probably a lot easier to gear a Doppel/Elelock or any other DPS Class to be viable.
If u realy love and play it passionly than u have to take the bitter pill and start investing into it.
If u only wanna clear ET and still be DPS pick on of the meta classes or just play a Chrono and get ur Gear for the Corsair.
Also u´ll need a grp who´ll bring u with them, since Corsair is not a Meta Class and there´s a lot of class racism against non-meta builds. Well personly i never had any trouble in any content i did, so there´s that.
