If it goes lvl 4 it applies +4 lvls to an key? Like if I have a key lvl 3 it goes 7?

Unlock Chest has to be THE most worthless skill available in a class three, you get keys to open every single chest available so far. So this skill… I don’t even know why it even exists…
And yes, you need a key + cast the spell. It will take the key with the lower value in your inventory.
well, there’s your answer. it’ll let you open higher level chest without having to hunt for every key.

I’m pretty sure there are chests you don’t get keys for o.o
So you need unlock chest if you want to get those chests.
But yeah, at most you’ll get unlock chest lvl 5… Lv 15 is useless.
And I think you can get those chests then reset your skills to ditch unlock chest lol.
but not IMC, if lv15 is useless like you say, why would they make a useless skill?
just to trap people so to boost Skill Reset sales?

Well you can get Unlock Chest at lvl 5 to use lvl 1 keys to open lv 6 chests so you save your higher level keys (instead of wasting a lvl 4 key with lvl 2 skill for example)…
The thing is, there aren’t lvl 15 or 16 chests around so it’s pointless to max it.
Change from Oracles is also pretty bad to add many skill lvls in. Getting more skill levels on it actually makes the skill worse.
that is because there is Skill Reset in TP shop…

Well if there were lvl 16 chests around the skill wouldn’t be pointless to max? They probably allowed lvl 15 max skill level because they intended to make higher level chests later on.
And the skill reset thing after getting the chests is almost like an exploit.

maybe it 's for some events in future when during them u can’t reset skill or cor rank up. And there are plenty of chest XD
