Corsair + Shinobi PVE Need advice

Hi… I would like to get some advice, remarks or comment about the build I’m goin for tis EA at 29th…

The concept of my Build is auto-attack with a heavy focus on single target boss killing burst dps with spear + offhand, I plan to go with heavy armour set.

I currently do not have any info on what specific weapon to use for the one-handed spear and offhand + which armour set.

Also, I’ve also given it a thought about using berserker c2 instead of hoplite, While I had given highlander c3 a slight glance I do not have any info on how highlander works…

Any tips, advice would be much appreciated. thanks in advance…

From what I understand from :

Shinobi Clones

So as it stand only Swordsman skills and throw kunai are the only skills shinobi clones can copy. Unless there are some skills they an copy that I do not know of or will be added in the future. This would mean that going Swordsman 3 is the best build for shinobis then as they can burst down anything to X5 damage by facerolling their keyboards with swordsman skills and Thrust also has no CD. Something like this:

Shinobi wouldn’t be able to use your Corsair + Hoplite skills.
If you’re wanting Corsair, it’s best to just go full c3 Corsair ( at least in my opinion )

i wonder if you are talking about the clones not being able to use the hop and corsair skills. Anyway, Hop’s pierce and Stabbing dmg scales really good specially with spear lunge, also people keep telling me kunai’s are pierce, so spear lunge would buff them, also finestra gives a lot of crit, so you can freely invest on more str and less dex.
As for the Corsair, the hook is strong in pvp, you can hook>clones>spear lunge(if in range)>kunais. The Dust Devil dmg is not bad and jolly roger can be used to make some money on the side. If going for pvp as a shinobi, Corsair makes a lot of sense mostly because of hook.
Shinobis dont have any synergy with any of the other classes, as far as i know the clones deal the same dmg as you do, but the swordman skills dmg dont scale well, so they are not even that worth to get for dmg.

But I believe that only the bunshin’s are limited to using the Swordman skills, As for my main reason on picking Shinobi well…

It’s Shinobi >.< the costume looked cool…

While I plan to focus my Corsair’s build only for pve I agree that hook would be a really good skill for pvp…

If you look at it that way then Shinobi has absolutely no synergy with any swordsman class because your bunshins can only cast shinobi skills.

I have yet to see a video from shinobi who didnt build corsair though.

But besides that if the only thing you are worried about is bunshin synergy then you are free to pick whatever you want pre shinobi.
