y was wondering what build for corsair is the most usefull for DPK farm, i have seen many corsair builds and have my doubts…as example:
-SW3-HI2-COR3
-SW3-PEL1-COR3-DOP1
-SW1-PEL1-HL2-COR3-FEN1
any suggestion?
i’d go with this -SW3-PEL1-COR3-DOP1
since you can taunt and you’ll have 2 aoe skills to clear mobs (Pistol Shots, Cyclone).
plus DPE will come in handy when you see a Silver/Gold mob.

Yep Sw3-Pelt1-Cor3-Dop1 can’t disagree. I tried Hl2 and didnt like it. Dont do Fencer 1. SW3/Pelt1/Corsair3/Dop1 if your intention is farming for sure. I will say I think SW1/Pel1/Hl2 could work, but I don’t think its worth giving up rank 15 Pain Barrier (getting interrupted out of Cyclone sucks)
I used to think SW3 is necessary, but it kinda isn’t if you use Gazing Golem cards (very high uptime on Pain Barrier with full Gazing Golem cards)
Pelt is okay, but not incredibly necessary. You gain decent aggro in Hunting Grounds just by throwing Jolly Roger flag down in the vicinity of monsters. Pelt does make higher defense/evasion stats easy to get, though with Guardian, so it is still pretty useful for mitigation.
Sword C2 is good. Restrain level 5 is good enough for most purposes, and you gain access to Bash Splash (increased AoE attack ratio on Bash) as well as Thrust Bleed attribute on stunned targets. You also get higher Pain Barrier uptime.
Highlander C2 is good. Skyliner is good damage for the rank you get it at, and Crosscut bleeds can proc Pillage.
Assuming you have access to decent armor and Gazing Golem cards, I would go with
Sword C2 / Highlander C2 / Corsair C3 / Doppel
If you don’t need restrain whatsoever, and don’t care about Thrust Bleed or Bash Splash, you can just go Highlander C2 / Highlander C3 OR Pelt C1 / Corsair C3 / Doppel and use Gazing Golem cards with Lap mushrooms to make the uptime of Pain Barrier very high (almost rivals the uptime of Sword C3 Pain Barrier when done effectively).
may I ask if the lvl * of Gazing Golem cards increase the % chance?
It’s Card chance, so 1% chance per card.
With 8 cards its 8% chance, which doesn’t seem like much, but if you use Lap mushrooms (self-damage mushroom) while you’re also getting hit by monsters, it will proc very often.
It can also refresh itself while its up since its just %chance with no cooldown period of when it can proc again.

u can’t use swash buckling with pistol
u need weapon swap
doing it when farming 7/24 is sad
If you have a sword and dagger in weapon swap along with sword and pistol won’t the game just auto switch to the dagger to swash buckle and you can manually swap back to pistol or force it auto swap with pistol shot? This is at least what the game did for me when I was using a 2handed bow with a crossbow in weapon swap for Stone Shot.
Auto-swap feaure is for archers only last I checked.
Sounds dumb if that is true, protest IMC.
