Corsair 3 +Frenzy + Pistol and Dex , is it a bug?

So, im playing a Sw1/Pelt/Barb3/Corsair3 and the issues im having are:
Im using pistol and when i use my auto attack i can’t get any benefits of my char dex , the attack speed is lower than my current normal attack with main hand weapon, also when i use Frenzy to get more attack speed hiting the same target it doesn’t work either , the number of stacks on frenzy does not increase.

Is that suppose to be like that? Because i cant already use my dex to get a higher value of attack speed using double weapon assault, it changes nothing on attack speed, and now i cant even use a basic normal attack based on my dex stats.

Also i’d like to remind that my attack speed with dagger is just the same as my main hand, so there’s no point to be able to have a basic attack based on dex with dagger and not with a pistol.

i don’t think attack speed affects the offhand weapon. never done it myself but that was posted in tthe forum a few times.

It does, i have 1 corsair full str and one dex.
