I recently just hit c1 corsair and I was wondering how come I cant do 2 hits on a monster with one of my auto attack?
You can only do that with Double Weapon Assault, which you get at C2. You will have to keep pressed C and then auto-attack using Z for it to work too.

Nope, it will only work with C+Z. Using Z alone will be a regular normal attack, not chained.
I meant as in. It’s not even worth it to try to chain the attacks since the animation is so low. It’s better to just press z and auto attack rather than trying to chain your attacks.
Yes, it is worth it. You deal more damage and it is pretty much the same attack speed as normal attacking.
Are you sure? I’m trying to chain my attacks and and the animation seems slower… Is there like a way to cancel attack to make your animations go faster?
You just turned c1, hes talking about when you have double weapon assault buff, thats in c2
im c2 corsair… the double atk assault is very underwhelming 
… i only use it when all my skills are on CD
This sounds like it would be awful if your playing on a controller
