† Corpse Potion †

So, I’ve heard about corpse potions, an item Necromancer can buy to be able to use it’s skills without collecting dead mobs. I’m trying to fit Necromancer C1 in my build for personal reasons and would like to know how do those work. I’m not even sure about it’s name, so here are my questions:

  • Does this item really exists?

  • Will it be sold at merchants on Founder’s/Free Server?

  • What is it’s price?

  • How many corpses does a potion give you?

  • Does it have a delay between usages?

  • Is it viable to only use those as I won’t have Disinter?

did the corpse potion pushed though in kOBT in the first place? someone please confirm! :wink:

if yes, then i think the whole corpse gathering gimmick is worthless

apparently corpse potion is still running in kTOS.

Gather Corpse looks useless, disinter looks good but should be C1 (gather corpse shouldn’t exist).

You got any idea on prices or how many corpses you get from each potion?

i remember last cbt corpse potion can be bought from Roleta Nimbus (Necromancer Master my sensei) about 5000 each and gives 20 corpse

edit: i was wrong it was 500 each and gives 30 corpse!

isn’t that too expensive? So without Necro 2 you really can’t go necro as disinter is a must if you don’t want to spend your life on corpse potions.

Still bad for PvP if you don’t feel like spending a bunch of money.

if that’s it I’m probably giving up on necro…

that’s if my memory is correct :))

i think corpse potions are specifically for emergencies
you need to farm corpse before dungeon entrances and such
even though inconvenient i really love some bit of role-playing only applicable to this class

Someone told me it’s cheap, but also is not sure.

Guess I’ll have to wait until release or someone with sources to appear to make my decision.

No it isn’t 5000. It was 500 for 30 corpses in iCbt2. Has an internal cd but i cant remember what was it. It is cheap enough for you to spam all your necro skills without suffering $$ losses. I didn’t use gather corpse/disinter at all.

I just checked my old videos and it is on a 30s cd per use.
