If a Lunatic does something like that because of a game, that just means they would do that kind of stuff for just about anything else. There’s people that commit crimes over the stupidest of reasons after all.

modern miltaries are training alot of Drone pilots. your experience in aircraft games might come in handy if you plan on taking drone pilot career.

That aside, people kill over Jordans (Sneakers) and last year, 2 guys robbed a woman at gunpoint for some Popeyes chicken. Death over Video Games isn’t as rare as you’d think it is.

If anything, it proves just how awesome Ragnarok was. You’ll never see that kind of thing here, ToS is pretty average; below average, at the moment really.
Isn’t too surprising people taking things to the extreme. Such as DoTA 2 where a kid killed his grandma, Counter Strike where a guy stabbed a person because that person stabbed him in game too many times (confusing). Then again, don’t always blame a game for the ‘violence’.
A case where a kid plays League of Legends jokingly said something about killing children, then a woman steps in, taking it too seriously and brings him to court. Some teen died from falling off a building while taking ‘the most epic selfie’ ever. Also, in South Korea, there is a case where a man was raped by a woman, and that man won. The woman is his wife by the way.
It’s not gaming, it’s just human stupidity that is limitless.
The headlines for killings related to ToS would be funny.

This is at least better than the one who stabbed because of Counter Strike I’ve mentioned earlier. The man actually took 3 months to find his target. Like after 3 months you still have a grudge? Not taking a chill pill? No? Okay.

Grand Tip Bag? Jeez whoever wrote that article didn’t know anything about Ragnarok Online, nor do any kind of research at all. GTB is short for Golden Thief Bug, a card that when equipped in game would give you immunity to magic while making you take more damage from other sources. It was one of the most valuable cards you could get your hands on while MVPing as it made you pretty much immune to magical forms of damage or crowd control during War of Emperium.
