Pretty simple question that should make some good discussions:
If you and a friend were to co-op/play through the entire game, which classes would you choose? (And why?)
For my brother and I, we are going with the cleric and swordsman as our core classes and still discussing builds as we play with the skill calc!
As for casual grind play style
Cleric 3 > anything > Oracle (so we can summon mob and grind to our heart content)
Any DPS job with good aoe or any skill that can killing thing fast
Cryo and Pyro because reasons …
Bokor and Sorcer/Necro because minions
On the last CBT my BF used a Linker and I used a Hunter. The best thing about this combination is that hunters don’t have strong aoe skills, so the linker’s skills help a lot!
In my particular case, the problem is that @Grillo had plenty more time off than me, so he got away on lvls and story :c but I’m pretty sure this is a good combination!

The planned path for my friend and I are cleric going monk (him) and wiz going ele (moi). He’s also got friends who will be playing but idk what classes they’re gonna play.
The plan: I carry him through first two/three job circles, he’ll return favor when I make my I-heal-you-and-do-no-damage Oracle 
Well, when obt hits me and my girlfriend are going to go(Up to Rank 6):
Me: cleric3-paladin-Monk2
Her: Cleric-Krivis-priest3-Oracle
This is if they keep the new advancement system.
1.cleric1-buffs3-monk2
2. archer3-ranger3
Haven’t really decided on what class to choose (probably swordsman) but friend of mine prefer the wizard class. It’s a good thing he chose that since he can spam his almighty dank skills while I leech like a pro. Good times.
My friend and I planned to make Pyro>Sorc and Barb>Corsair.
No one wants to make a healer so we do dps classes. Good balance imo. Pots and Firewood is the answer for Hp/Mp.
We do have a backup plan of Pyro>Sorc and Cryo>Psyco. But we will have to join other party cause we consists of 2 glasscannons. 
I always play with my friend and we were lucky enough to both get keys. We played the usual types of characters we’re fond of: I was linker, my friend was peltasta. It might not be the most optimal combination, but they’re classes which suited our playstyles. It also worked well for parties since it’s a lot easier to find DPS classes than support.
Lol Priests are only good for their buffs. no respect lol jk
No Tank-Caster combo? that was basic (tank need potion but they can block)
Since Tank can only grow in party, make party specific build.
And playing 2 solo class in party is kinda missing the point (kinda).

How far did you guys make it?
We are considering a swordsman/cleric based team but if tanks aren’t needed at this time… Mage/cleric(support) may suffice in power grinding.
anyone else run co-op during the last beta? Experiences? Ideas? The CBT2 is getting close… and we’re still deciding on whether to grind it as swordsmen and cleric base or not 
I’m always either Support like a healer 90% of the time, or a Tank. My decision is usually based around what my partner wants to play as.
