Convince me to play

I’ve been a huge fan since its 1st previews last year, I played the betas and I enjoyed them very much. It is a very unique game that have so much potential … but; I just found out that you can’t trade with people anymore … some kind of anti-gold selling thing and it’s a huge turn off for me, sure you’d still be able to with 20 bucks a month, but that will seriously limit the number of players you can trade with AND sometimes you just don’t trade for long times. I don’t want to spend 20$/month to be able to trade once in that month. Comments ? suggestions ?

Because one day there will be WoE (hopefully)

can’t you just use AH to buy sell items? although yes it still has its restrictions for free players.

otherwise you can support the company by purchasing the premium service…

lastly there are also other benefits other than trading (more dungeon entry counts, extra bonus exp etc.)

No there wont be WoE, this is not ragnarok.

Also

You sound like you would buy gold from the sellers with that statement.

I’m sorry, but if you have doubts about the game you should simply listen to them.

Asking strangers to sell you the game will disappoint you in the long run.

you now can wear three hats!
three!

dude, just buy token using silver

tada, now u can trade whatever u want

there might be something similar -if not this game really has no point in it

Don’t waste money if you’re unsure. Wait for the f2p and see if you can deal with everything that’s changed since iCBT2, then support them through the shop, if you wish to do so.

I decided not to play the EA for other reasons which I won’t mention, because I don’t want more fights to break out. I also can’t say that I’m not concerned about trading, based on the reports from KR version, but I’ll give it a shot.

If it’s shitty as they say it is, I’ll probably quit. Well, I’ll probably try to deal with it in some way first, but if it’s just unreasonable, then I’ll quit it.

I think for f2p players, it will all depend on generosity of paying players and what prices they set for the tokens. If they overprice, the playerbase will probably be cut in half within 6 months of the f2p release.

You’ve overestimated trading in this game. Playing 250h played and used trading just to give some stuff to my twinks.

Episode and dramaturgie is in the game, exterminating vampires on their wake, should do too as a member of the squad. On serious note i wonder if you use your other chars to bypass the trade limit then transfer them using shared storage?

How can you not be convinced

I don’t understand him too

To be frank… how many times did you really trade in icbt2?

I know most of my actual trading in person was so I could craft something from the traded materials and re-sell the crafted product at gain. Or so I could hand an item to a friend to mule, or mule for them, and in dealing with purchasing the awakening service.

Man, looking back, I didn’t really trade 1:1 much at all to be honest.

Did you?

Same. I only use trade to give item on low level players that time. =)) Everything can be bought via market.

@TS

I think you can use trade with tokens in game. It is true that trade system is one of the “less used” function. So not a big deal. Dw about it.

lol yeah, I was worried about it too and then I wondered to myself if I even needed it. Turns out, I didn’t lol I miss the buy-in shops even more though and hope they make a return someday because that is what was actually convenient.

I didn’t trade much directly, but I used the ■■■■ out of AH. My AH page was always filled up.

I did trade a lot if you consider giving items that are better for my premade to him. I kinda wouldn’t like losing the ability to do that.

It’s a basic feature that shouldn’t be restricted in a f2p mmorpg.

Yeah… that’s a bummy loss too, I’ve always loved playing around with markets and in most mmos it’s how I make the bulk of my funds. RIP.

But yeah, OP, don’t sweat it, I suspect you won’t really miss the function too much. And if you find you do miss it, then it shows you were playing and ToS will already be in your veins. You won’t be able to shake its hold on you anyway <3
