Since the start of the ICBT2, I have been playing (or attempting to play) with only a controller. I have noticed that there are quite a few things that you just cant do with the controller and have to resort to a mouse/keyboard for interaction with the interface. These are a few suggestions that I think would be some major quality of life changes for the controller users.

First and foremost, when you hold R1+R2 and press start, this activates the cursor to be controlled by the left joystick. While it does help, we are unable to select anything with the controller and have to still click on an item or interface element with the mouse. Perhaps programming the A or B buttons to act as an “Ok” button to select items. This would help with using items without having to click on them, or using the menu without having to go to the keyboard for F1-10.

The right joystick. Aside from pressing it down to enable the target lock function, the right joystick serves no purpose that I can discern. There are many possibilities to use this.

The D-pad. From what I have seen, there’s really no purpose other than to act as character directional, which can be done with the left joystick. I would suggest using the D-pad to function as cursor movement. This would help a lot when moving through items in the inventory to assist with things mentioned in the first suggestion.

The Y button. This one only serves to be paired with the hotbar usage and the movement speed increase of the cursor when selected with R1/R2 + Start. Perhaps fold the movement speed of the cursor when holding Y into its natural speed and give Y a new function?
If I can think of anything else, I will edit my post. Having a brain fart for ideas now.
