Did anyone else just lose controller support? i have been using a xbox controller since beta. And this weekend it no longer works. Yet my computer recognizes my controller along with every other game, making me believe its another one of IMCs ■■■■ ups. Anyone else have a similar issue or suggestions to fix this?
Mine is working fine, i only noticed that sometimes it stop out of nowhere and i have to alt tab to it work again.
Not sure if it would work, but you can try delete the hotkey xml file related to joypad/joystick in the game folder.
I’m not sure if DS4 windows would help with an xbox controller or not but you could try.
I use a PS3 controller, never had a single problem with it =(

Not sure if this will help, but i use a steam controller and i have to run steam as administrator for it to work. Maybe try that.

what sub folder would that be in?
Update just tryed a fresh reinstall and its still not working. I also went into the key settings and hit restore to default, the controller still dosn’t work but vibrates when i hit restore to default.
Should be right in the release sub folder of Tree of Savior.

Did you check if it removed the xml files when it was uninstalled? I noticed it doesn’t remove some of the xml files upon uninstalling. Like the user.xml. I’ve had to manually delete that one time to get something to work.
Just to make sure, yours is Xbox One? If yes, it had a problematic compatibility before, and the patches since the merge started to break some stuff.
Mine is Xbox 360, but so far it is going fine.
Other thing, avoid using USB 3.0 ports, some devices have strange behavior or don’t work properly on them if they are only 2.0.
I have figured out the problem. My keyboard got a new update for its touchpad/hotkeys which are now conflicting with the controller. When my keyboard is plugged in it also counts as a controller. Does anyone know how to set a priority for controllers?
That is weird, never heard of that one, just to be sure you don’t have Xpadder and it is not setup to run at windows start up right?
Post the name of the keyboard, if anything, close the keyboard proprietary software, if there is one, and try using it again.

I found this in the support page from Razer:
Since I started using Windows 10 my computer will not go into sleep mode and my screen saver mode will not come on.
This happens due to a compatibility issues between Joystick devices and Windows 10. To avoid this please disable the game controller device under Device Manager >> Human Interface Device >> HID-compliant Game Controller. However, do note that when you disable the game controller, you might lose virtual joystick related features in Synapse.
Not really joystick fault imo but their fault, anyway try to do that and in case you don’t find it as Keyboard devices…
I cannot find my Razer mouse or keyboard in Windows Device Manager under "Mice and other pointing Devices"
Razer mice and keyboards are not typically listed under the “Mice and other pointing Devices” section of the Windows Device Manager. They should be listed under "Human Interface Devices.”
This might help your problem, you can enable it later if you use it in other games.
tried disabling all of them 1 by 1 and test and tried disabling them all. Also did a full reinstall on the drivers.
controller still dosnt work with it >.>
for the sake of being thorough i also tested other usb ports (same probelm)
You will have to send them a ticket since only happens with ToS right? Since what you could do didn’t worked, unless you uninstall the drivers and use it as a normal keyboard (if it is possible) to see if it work normally again.
Thought of that 2 but the keyboard doesn’t function at all without the drivers.
Yea its just ToS as far as i can tell.
Also im probably just ■■■■■■, i have submitted 2 tickets previously, never even got automated responses.
