I’ve been playing mouse and keyboard since I started playing at beta.
Although I’ve never tried playing with a controller. Is playing with a controller
a good experience in this game? I just want to know before I ask my friend
to lend me his for awhile, thank you for any feedback 
For melee or AoE chars, that don’t need to aim at a specific monster, it works well, but if you are playing archer, you are in for a painful experience, at Beta, the controller system was good, not perfect but was good, now it is a crap one.
Even if you use Target Lock (keyb/mouse you press CTRL to activate, on controller you press Right Stick) the focus goes to anywhere but the monsters close to you. And to make things worse, if there is Tree Crystal Roots close by, the focus goes straight to it, it is the first priority in the aim (that also is true to summons/companions, if there are an horde of mob close to them, and a single Tree Root, they go after the root).
I play with a controller, i find it pretty comfortable, its pretty intuitive.
Melee classes feel pretty natural to play with controller, ranged classes still feel good, but i think is easier to aim and attack the mob you want with a mouse than with a controller, however, i think kiting on the controller is a bit easier wich is pretty nice if you’re playing archer class.
Give it a try m8, its a preference thing at the end of the day
not really, it still works well…and im playing archer
the crashing bug already been fixed tho
tos will crash when you plugoff usb (any usb or wireless dc …including controller) <— this has been fixed
