Control mapping and configuration

Hmnnn I think it’s a good thing if I can customize my own controls in my own will - whether it will be for the keyboard, mouse and especially the gamepad

Go to your tree of savior folder, release and find a file named hotkey.xml (or hotkey_mousemode.xml etc) and edit the file. Change what is written behind >Key=< to anything you desire. A bit complicated for people not into that kinda stuff but it works.

I’m glad to hear that there’s a way to do this right now, but they really need to add this capability into the game itself.

Thanks for the info about the mapping, but we really need that this change to be done in the game interface. Editing the file is very non-intuitive and since it’s loaded only on the game start, editing it was very annoying.

Oh it actually isn’t only loaded on game-start. You can edit it and just change to another mode and back and it’ll be loaded. That’s at least how it was for me.

On another note tho… Are you that victor that’s also a VX Ace scripter n stuff? If so: Fancy meeting you here lol.

Didn’t knew that since the configuration interface didn’t allow to change the settings (just look at it) i let it on the auto mode.

And yes, it’s me.

I think the control configuration should be easy, changing hotkey.xml is not simple sometimes, because is possible to have hotkey conflict, while if we use a in game interface we avoid this kind of problem.
