Constructive Criticism on my Full support build please

I will be playing with friends and am going full support. this is for pve only not for pvp.
If you have time, could you please take a look at the build and criticize to your hearts content
I will tell how and why i decided to allocate my skills the way i did and you can tell me what you think
C3>P3>Krivis1>PD1

Cleric 3:

-heal +15 (i read +10 is good enough and 15 is overkill but I will be pure support so the more the better especially for later game)

-cure +1 (for status removal early game)

-Safety Zone +15 (can’t have enough safety zones for protecting my friends :D)

-Divine might + 10

-Fade + 4

PRIEST 3

-aspersion 0 (idk why people go 1 level into this in a lot of the builds i looked up. 1 level gives a flat 20 defense increase only and even with SPR scaling, its still very horrible how its calculated because the scaling is dependent on both SPR and the level of the skill so if you only have it at lv1 then that scales down the SPR scaling to 20% of it only)

monsterance +1 (for the bonus dex for allies and 10% enemy defense decrease, dont need higher level for the -evasion)

Blessing +15

REssurrection +5

Sacrament +1 (100% spr scaling so only lv 1 is enough :open_mouth: 300 spr = 300 bonus holy dmg )

Revive +8 (for late game)

Mass heal +10

Exorcise +0 (not planning to do dps)

Stone skin +5

Kravis

Zalciai +5 (bonus crit with spr scaling)
Daino +5 (for the bonus buffs and the main reason for chooseing Kravis)
extra 5 points for aukuras or zaibas but both arent that great but it’ll prob go into aukuras since its more supportive.

Plague Doctor
+5 healing factor
+5 blood letting (to prevent all status ailment (or almost all)
+5 fumigate for any other ailment that i missed…

Cleric 3 is kinda overkill, with max mass heal + C2 heal and healing factor, most of your teammates would be at full health most of the time, maybe switch it out for PD2, to get disenchant, some bosses like to buff themselves like the tree on Sulai dungeon (break it’s shields), or go for Taoist (although expensive) dark sight can be very useful.

C3P3 is fine, but the key thing is:

In PVE content, it would generally be better to also have some DPS or better utility. PD1’s utility is pretty bad when not looking at it on paper. Krivis1 isn’t a bad idea, but I think you would enjoy kabba2 instead. This also, if you ever felt like it, would give you some PVP utility. (edit: kabba2 is good PVE utility too, because you are an SP-battery to classes who really need it).

For PVE, my recommendation would be PD2 and pick up its DPS abilities, or a different combination of earlier classes. I say this because most of the “harder” content in this game relies on strict DPS checks, and while blessing does increase a party’s DPS significantly, you could functionally be replaced by a DPS priest who would have the same utility. A good example of a roughly zero DPS support would be a cryo chrono sage, because while they themselves do no damage, their buffs and pass (and frost pillar, since some lategame mobs are immune to link) roughly double the DPS of a group. This isn’t to say a full support cleric is bad, it’ll just require you to build the party around you, with 4 hard DPS.

I have a c3p3kabba2 and love it, and have had it for a year now (well, it was kabba 1 a year ago but you know what I mean). But if I were to bring one of my clerics to ET, it would be my diev/PD2 without question.

This is a full heal support build with blessing (SPR). It is able to heal and bless very well, if that is your goal.

Monstrance 1 is nice. Bless max, ress max, mass heal max is fine.
Buy aspersion at pardoner shop.
Buy sacrament at pardoner shop.
Aukuras is the support choice, zaibas is to hit objects. Suggest 5 aukuras, 5 daino, 5 zalciai.
Could take lvl 1 incinerate to destroy objects faster and add some damage (zalciai is a debuff for incinerate).
Fumigate lvl 1-3 is sufficient (divine might will bring it up to 2-4).

Cleric3 guardian saint makes you immune to knockbacks/knockups/knockdowns. Guardian saint + healing factor is nice, though limited by hitcount. If you like this skill you could consider it.

Please note plague doc bloodletting, each tick will make players take 1 heal tile even when they get -1 HP.
Heal 16 + bless x 2Overheat is a nice nuke if you need to deal some damage.

Name Moo’s full support build. Is this the moo on EU?

how many buffs are usually active late game? I feel with all my buffs along with the buffs of the class of the people i am buffing I feel we will go over the five buff limit thus I feel krivis cannot be abandoned. with blessing/monsterance/sacrament/stone skin. thats already 4 buffs. that means if one of my teammate activates 2 bufff then one will be gone (or idk how the buff limit works exactly haha but we cant have more than 5) so i feel i have to have this one.

dark charm feels like the cleric skill Fade but with a longer duration only.

yea people say c3 +15 heal is overkill but I rather have the extra heal as i’m full support.

thanks for the input about guardian saint. didnt know it was knockbacks/ups/downs immunity.
I will consider it into my build now :open_mouth:

I hope my teammates will not go into the heal tiles with little hp missing xD

and nuu this isnt moo from EU. this is a new moo who is just about to start the game but decided to do a lot of research before playing so he wouldnt have to reroll later xD

Wizard and archer have buff limit of 5.
Swordie and cleric have limit of 7.

After rank 5 you are able to buy attribute to get +1 more buffslot.
Token = +1 additional buffslot.

Party with priest + chrono + thauma is the worst without daino.

lol
can help im a wiz but if your going cleric wy dont aim for the plauge doctor

As much as Krivis is needed for additional buff counts, most Kriv-Pard, usually sell Kriv scrolls. For me, I feel like it’s a waste of class. Again, that’s just me.

I’m a full support, Cleric 2 Priest 3 Oracle Kabbalist 2, and I can tell you Heal 10 is enough, especially if you have Mass Heal 10, even in 300+ content.
Now, Cleric 3 sure makes it easier, you don’t have to care as much, but if you can drop it for a more useful class I think it’d be better as a support.
Also, if you go Cleric 3 you should definitely consider Guardian Saint, yup~ It’d allow you to take damages instead of someone else and it’s a good way to avoid them being knocked down/back too often (some bosses seriously spam this kind of skills…), so for example you can drop it on your top DPS and let them roam free and destroy everything.
By the way, Safety Zone 15 is totally too much. No matter what SZ lasts only 20 seconds, so with the 20 blocks attribute it won’t break before it runs out of time. It also has a 48s cd, so it’s not a skill you’ll spam.

Now, since you want to be full support, I think you should take into account how TOS works. In regular games, as a support, you almost constantly heal/buff, in TOS you won’t. To heal you put tiles on the floor, and your teammates have to move on them to get them all. You won’t be all the time healing or buffing, so you need to be useful in another way as well. You’ll need to make it so your party kills faster or make it easier for them.
And for this reason, your PD isn’t that great. Fumigate 1 is enough (2 with DM) because it’s a rather small area in front of you and the cooldown is 30s so you’ll use Cure instead if someone else still needs to be cured.
You should put 1 point in Incineration because it’ll bring extra damages (always needed) and the rest in Pandemic. Imagine you have someone who can poison, burn, slow, etc. enemies, it’s better if you can spread all that to the surrounding enemies.
With your build, I’d spread my skills like this instead.

For the buffs, you have to realize you won’t be using all those buffs constantly. You’ll have Divine Might and Blessing up all the time, but for the rest, nope, they’re situational. Even Revive you won’t have it up all the time, only in tough scenarios.
With Tokens (which everybody ends up having at some point), Wizards and Archers will have a 7 buffs limit and Swordsmen and Clerics 9. For most situations, it’s enough (as long as you don’t blindlessly use all your available buffs for the glory of buffing, of course (like if your party is full of wizards, no point using Monstrance)), that’s why people just buy Daino scrolls.

But like I already said, “full support” in TOS isn’t only about buffs and heals. It’s also about helping your party to kill faster, giving them some immunities, and such.

what people want from cleric is heal and damage (or damage boost)

any cleric can heal, any heal and save teammate life

and damage is only thing that make mob die

utility that doesn’t provide damage is nothing in pve

this is how tos work

that why chronomancer is always stand in top among every support

to be a good support u need to boost your teammate damage or help them do damage

example miko kagura + taoist storm calling is great for melee class

I thought guardian saint worked the other way :open_mouth: where the person who steps on the circle (tile) takes all the damage that I was suppose to take and not the other way around of me getting all the damage that they’re suppose to take. or i the skill description wrong.

okay, now that you guys put it like that kravis does feel like a waste of a class a bit but i’m still nervous about losing it cuz i cant expect people to buy daino all the time XD but yea with all the arguments supporting partial dps and not just full run around and heal/buff support I think i will have to rework on my build a bit.

thanks goldie for the rework on my build. I think maybe I might go with how you redistributed the skill points because it adds in that extra dps that i was missing and still allowed me to keep most of the build

Ah, no, Guardian Saint does work the way you described it, but they added an attribute allowing you to take the damages instead =)

I can understand~ I hesitated on my Rank 6 class a lot. But in the end I thought that eventually anyway, with 10 ranks in total and the fact every classes will have more and more buffs… Daino 5 might not even be enough at some point, depending on the party.
So I have my own Krivis-Pardoner and I craft my own scrolls.

You’re welcome ^^ Yes, it’s important to have a bit of both I think.
Before they reworked Blessing, as a full support sometimes I felt useless as my party didn’t need more heals, my buffs were all fine, but I didn’t help enhance their damages much nor did I deal big damages =/
