Consistent same party loots the World boss. No chance for the other party

I have been on a few World boss, and same players gets it every time. LITERALLY EVERYTIME! This 1 guy, have a 50pcs of dullahan cube. his party gets 2pcs every 2 hrs.

It just not fare, no chance for the other parties.

Characters who wont contribute much damage has a low chance on getting a party. Everyone is looking for charcters who have HIGH DPS damage like Fletcher.

The drooping system should be change.

I mean how would you change it? World boss is such a awkward thing to have in a game with so many people. Unless they distribute loot out to everyone who participates, might as well shove the boss into a dungeon.

Maybe by randomly giving cubes to the ones who participated. So that even you are solo or with a group of supports. You still have a chance on getting 1. Rather than a group of parties just keeps on having it consistent.

This OP DPS Parties just keeps on getting and getting the cubes.

A+ game design.
I’m so glad I left this shitty game, I mean just look at how flawed the loot mechanics are, and it’s just one of dozens of critical flaws that ruin the game.

Yeah this is something to be adressed, It makes most of classes useless.

I do think the situation is a bit sad for support builds… Buffs could be limited to party only - then there’d be a larger incentive to keep them/invite them to parties…

There are ways… for example, by buffing the world boss HP and damage wise to make support more useful. In BnS the faction boss gives drops to anyone who deals over a certain % damage. Slightly better drops are given to those who deal a higher % damage.

The best way to change it would be instead of having to do a specific high % of damage they should lower it, or at least make it to where it’s divided amongst party members.

As far as I could tell everyone got a boss drop when I killed archon recently, but I mean…it’s the persons own fault for playing a low damage class or buffing class. “Unfair” lmfao

Omg guys, level up a decent MVP killer class and kill the boss
Literally, you are jsut crying because someone have better damage to boss than you
6 top DPS persons will get cubes, so if there will be a party of 5 for each top DPS, total 5*6=30 cubes
ofc support can’t kill the boss or be top dps out there, but you can support someone to get these cubes for your party

Maybe he is one of the OP parties.

You just need more bosses (not more channels) since 1 person can’t be in the same place at the same time (excusing multi account botting). A 2h Minotaur boss would be nice.

I would say a random spawn time is very nice.

I would say that the issue isn’t the way boss cubes are distributed. The issue is that there isn’t an alternative for Supports/Tanks. There should be classes that are great at World Boss killing, classes that are good at Mobbing, classes that are required for running certain dungeons/raids, classes that are good at PvP, and those things should all be accessible, balanced, and equally rewarding. Of course, if one class can do all of those things well it’s a balance issue.
The fact that instanced gameplay (where tanks and healers are p much required and DPS is still useful) is so limited is a big part of the problem.

World boss cubes need to drop for EVERYONE that participates, period. As a heal slut i don’t get invited into parties at all

I hate that when in in a party competing with other parties for the drops my blessing and heals all work on them and help them… It’s really annoying to basically hold your competitions hand to getting a drop over yourself.

is the only suggestion that might fix this. Like how GW2’s work, healing/support is being counted into contribution. And individual players have to do certain threshold of damage/support to tag the boss.

The field boss loot issue also had been put forward during iCBT2, but the loot rule still remains unchanged so far.

And i recommend you not to buy those overpriced loot and invest in skill attributes instead.

lol, sign me in a level 1 character and manage to land a hit 1 dmg to a boss and i need a drop too
