Confused about Plague Doctor - HELP!

Ok, so I’m trying a bunch of different Chaplain Builds since it’s finally more viable late game, it’s my favorite class and was my first character to 200+ back at launch.

So I seen a build that’s Cleric 2 - Priest 3 - Chap - Plague 2.
Now I’m having trouble understanding the proper order to use and proper skills to trigger the PD skills.

Incinerate:
So as I understand it, if an enemy has an status effect Incinerate will do damage and more damage if there are more status effects. If there are no effect, then it does nothing correct?

Ok, so my question is what skill do I have to apply an effect? Is it just Exorcise until PD2?

Pandemic:
So I’ve tried this once an enemy has Exorcise ticking on it and it does not spread, I’ve also tried it after using Incinerate and that damage doesn’t spread. I’m not too sure what I’m doing wrong here.

Can Pandemic spread incinerate?
Should I use Pandemic before incinerate or after?
What skills do these interact with that I have?
Should I ignite Exorcise with Magnus right away? After a moment so 1 enemy is ticking? Does Magnus have an effect that spreads?

If anyone can please shed some light and maybe even give me a run down of cast order and such I’d appreciate it.

Any kind of stats workk, bleeding (monk have it), hexing (Bokor have it), burning (oyro have it also Ignition Rod have it).

Pandemic only spread certain DoTs and debuffs like hexing.

Can Pandemic spread incinerate?

Only the burn stats (I’m not sure if it does burn stats without Ignition, since it’s the only weapon I ever used after getting PD), not the skill itself.[quote=“Trippi, post:1, topic:361442”]

If you put a debuff that work with Incinerate in a monster yes use it before Incinerate, when the mob get close to you throw Incinerate on them.

What skills do these interact with that I have?

For Pandemic, Black Smoke work, Bokor Hexing also work, I’m not sure about Exorcise + Magnus effect, burning does spread, poison spread, not sure if bleeding spread.

In all honesty, since you are going priest 3 chaplain, don’t get incinerate, get the other utilities, unless you will get Black Smoke later on, then you can use Incinerate with it, but take 2 ranks just to concentrate in 2 skills is not really worth it,

I know you probably took the utilities for debuff removal, but still.

I have a Chaplain I decided to test with kabba 2, it’s fun and a good farm build.

There are other combos to go with it too to pull out the potential of the build.

Your path have few debuff so it hard to use incinerate. Although, You can manage until pd2 by using cure and exo.
