Alright so I looked around the forum a bit and tried to see everyones take in the other posts for it. It seems alot of people agree that Gung Ho is better for swordsmen. Well I wanted to take a closer look at both of these skills and came up with some neat numbers.Basically Gung Ho at lvl 15 gives you 50 physical dmg. Thats huge when you think about what Concentrate gives, Only 26 at level 15. If were lookin at just the skills alone then yeah gung ho is easier the higher damage buff. BUT, it seems to me like everyone has forgot about the Enhance’s that you can upgrade for both of these abilities. Both of those enhances can be leveled to 50 max and both are very different.
For Gung Ho Enhance if maxed at 50 it would give an additional 50 Dmg (1 Per level of enhance) So here with lvl 15 GH and lvl 50 GHE we have a total of +100 Physical Damage. Thats not to bad. Lets not forget that you will also receive a defense debuff for using this ability and the debuff grows by -1 for each level of GHE. This ability also last 135 seconds at lvl 15. Which would be better for prolonged fights. That being said lets look at Concentrate.
Level 15 of Concentrate only gives +26 Damage. Thats alot less than GH right from the start. But unlike gung ho enhance, Concentrate enhance gives 2 damage per level. So maxed out at 50 it gives a bonus +100 Damage bringing the total of it to 126! 26 More damage than gung ho. Keep in mind that You dont recieve a debuff to your defense while using concentrate however You only get 26 hits with this skill. That includes all hits included in an aoe attack or consecutive hits with auto attacks.
It seems to me that Concentrate is more of the late game spell. The only issue with that would be the cooldown on it to keep it up as often as gung ho. Lets hear your thoughts on this guys. Curious to see who if anyone has tried these in game and could share thier experiences.
