It would be nice if skills like Concentrate and Double Pay Earn would get an increase in count.
Concentrate isn’t weak in the amount of damage it does but it burns up way to quickly. If you’re in a CM you use it then use 1 multihit skill and it’s gone. Some classes can make use of skills like these better than others, for example Dragoon with DPE, but overall these skills don’t have much benefit due to a low hit count.
Zealots Blind Faith is a lot more reasonable.
They nerfed Concentrate a month or two ago, when the rework for fake multihits came around. Before that only one stack was used per skill cast, which made it pretty strong for multihit skills based builds.

I remember when I was Crazy for Concentrate and GungHo, but now… even with the buffs, they’re not that good, they feel like a noob trap.
GungHo’s pretty good duration wise, but as a Swordsman, having to recast Concentrate, a lot of times you just forget about it in the heat of the moment.
Pain Barrier is the best buff you get out of Swordsman.
First they need to make concentrate not destroy your hearing. Then buff it.
Concentrate is still true damage.
I think what may be confusing you is how the damage is displayed, it no longer shows an individual number and just adds the amount into your normal damage number, but it is still true damage.
