when i started playing the game i asked myself this why spr raises mdef and con doesn’t raise phy def both should have same function.

This totally makes SPR > CON. I’ll roll a full SPR wiz now coz MDEF.
CON raises HP and block, but it is still inferior.
Won’t happen, because imc wants u to spend on overupgrading your gear for Def and attack.
Fixed, there much better.

i think it already does increase pdef, not by a big value tho. like 0.2 or something per con XD
SPR raises mdef in a negligible amount, it is hardly noticable. It does increase chance to resist magic attacks, whereas CON increases block so they already have that relationship.
Game was designed for players to rely on gear and upgrades by endgame except for that time when equipment in TBL was standardized (oh, how I missed those matches).
Not that there’s something wrong with that because it means you’re still rewarded for working hard in acquiring those gears/upgrades - THAT IS UNTIL players can just “buy” gears and upgrades with real money, if you know what I mean.
People have been doing that since day one by selling tokens on the marketplace.

It is actually a sound solution, because it just moves silver and goods around between players rather than creating them via bots leading to inflation.

Yeah, I must admit it isn’t really bad. I even wonder what took them so long to realize that.
Still, the fact remains that going P2W is only going to widen the divide between whales and non-whales. At some point, whales are going to dominate most aspects of the game unless non-whales resort to botting/hacking or go ulti-masochist mode.
Considering the game is largely noncompetitive or even solo it really just comes down to a big advantage in PVP which is an imbalanced crapshoot already and no amount of gear will compensate for someone having a more broken PVP character.
