"Compensation" for Telsiai Exclusive Players to move to new SEA server Varena

Before all of you ragers comment on the word compensation, please spend a minute to read my suggestion.

Here’s the situation that I am facing right now. Among my friends and family interested in playing ToS, I was the only one who purchased the Exclusive TP packs and got in before the upcoming F2P starts.

However, now that the new server has been announced for F2P players, I realise that I would not be able to play with all my friends and family that soon. I do understand that this is only temporary and I would be able to play with them in the ‘future’. How long will this future be? Will it be another month or two? What if some of them leave before that day comes?

There are many uncertainties. I know for sure I will not be leaving and I do not mind switching over to their servers. I do not even mind re-rolling my characters. However, my disappointment comes with the exclusive items I have claimed on my would-be previous server, Telsiai.

My suggestion is this, please allow all exclusive players who decide to start in Varena to claim the same items they have purchased (and claimed) in Telsiai. Naturally, those claimed items are untradable and should not affect the open market.

Future inter-server transfers between Telsiai and Varena will also force the exclusive player to ‘choose’ one of the Teams and delete the other, thereby removing all the extra goodies such as the hats and pet. I have not tried playing in another server so I do not know if my current TP balance can be used there, but if yes, then don’t compensate the TP but just the tokens, hats and pets, etc.

You might as well suggest server transfer… You would get the stuff you purchased + your characters…

I mean, by the time they transfer over your purchased items, they might as well transfer the character as well since it goes through the same requirements. Unless you are suggesting that every purchased items will be duplicated into every server (e.g. buy 500 TP, it appears on each server) but that would break the game economy.

Yes, I was suggesting this because a server transfer would have to be manually done (it seems that way from the previous transfer) and it would take much longer than to just actively credit a standard package to every old ‘exclusive’ player in the form of a compensation for making a new team in Varena.

new server means fresh start …IMC please no transfer from teslai to verana for at least a month

I’m not asking for an item transfer, e.g. 3 statted headgear costume to be moved to the new server. I’m asking for a chance for those who intend to restart on the new server to get the exclusive items that they purchased (and redeemed) on the new server. These items can be credited earlier or later and I wouldn’t mind. But I wouldn’t want to start fresh on a new server and lose my access to the exclusive headgears and free (400ksilver or so) pet, stat reset and skill reset, etc.

+1 to this. As mentioned above, I also think a server transfer would’ve solved the issue. Though it may be too late as of right now. Ideally they should have created a new server and provide a server transfer to balance out the population on both servers. THEN open both up for F2P. It really sucks that I am unable to play with my friends right now, vice versa.

Off topic:
I doubt 2 servers will even be enough for SEA’s F2P community…

Though i guess if we look on the positive side of things, the F2P community is going to flood the new SEA server so badly that it’ll be worse than our current Telsiai server :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Glad to see someone agreeing to my train of thought. I also think the solution that you offered would be the best option but at the moment, the one I proposed is the most viable and easiest to implement.

I agrees with the chance given to Exclusive Players to move to new SEA server.

  1. To unite with F2P family, friends, crush, teachers and strangers.

  2. THIS<<<< Current SEA Telsiai is overloaded with Players, it’s so unstable, mad lagness, delays, if they can’t further improve the server capacity, at least they need to migrate part of the players to new server!
