i just recently purchased the velheider pet from the companion store, and to me it feels like just a cosmetic component to your character. When fighting mobs, it feels like 3-5 seconds behind your character and as soon as you kill a mob thats when it starts to attack. I feel maybe you should add like a attack/defend/stay Skills for the companions, or just make them a tad bit faster so they can catch up to you and the mob you are fighting.
