I sadly did not get into the beta :’(. BUT I want to be apart of the community! Once the english version of Tree of Savior comes out I’m gonna lose it!

Anyone else here play Ragnarok Online and the beta for Tree of Savior? I’ve seen videos but I was wondering what people like about Tree of Savior that was different from RO. I know they’re different games I’m just cuuuurious mannnnn!

I’ve playing iRO way back in vanilla, right after it came out, i’ve wanted to get back into it, not sure if i could with no friends playing. but hoping to get into the beta for ToS myself.

Yes, for a number-that-I-lost-count-th times, this game is different from RO. You’ve already said it yourself. Don’t be fooled by “spiritual successor of Ragnarok” though. Many did and many left the game in disappointment due to the fact that the game is not the same as RO.

The current version balancing and class system is pretty messed up…but theres still a lot of time.

One of the great things is, IMC Games does listen to the community.

TOS loot system is really rewarding…

TOS Graphics is really rich in details and the artwork is amazing!

I know Mark I cannot get over how beautiful the game is. I had to stop myself from watching videos it was taking over my nights :3. Balancing is always an issue in the beginning but like you said there is still lots of time!~

Also is there PvP? I’ve always been big on PvP in all games. If not I’d be sad…but still play!!..of course ;D

It’s similar to RO in many ways except that it removes the tedious parts but still manages to keep the resulting benefits from those tedious parts intact for the players.

Arena PvP offers 1v1, 3v3 and 5v5.

The game still has many of the flaws RO had, like balance being an impossibility. If you were able to live with RO’s flaws, you will be able to live with this one’s too.

iRO renewal player here. I didn’t reach very far as I got sick in the middle of CBT, but while playing, I felt it was very different from RO certainly. I’ve always played support in RO since 2003 and so in CBT, I played cleric. The gameplay was very different. I thought it was much closer to support classes in newer MMOs.

Strangely, while playing, I wasn’t thinking “I wish it was more like RO.” I was actually thinking “I wish it was more like Fairyland” if you know that game.
