been doing some theory crafting lately.
cloth 4pcs = more sp and sp recov,
so if you gem for crit/crit dmg/atk on weapon
would it be viable enough to have enough sp to keep chugging skills?
cause if you’re going leather, it’s only for the evasion +50% on 4pc leather.
been thinking about it, should be, will test it out now.
cause in WoW, hunters/archers compensate for the mana chugging with staves and other stuff that adds either int or mana
so since you’re chugging dex for stats eitherway it’ll add evasion and crit
so you can/should get decent dps
atm lvl30 c2 archer.
will do some more insights and then edit this post, i’d love to hear feedback from higher lvl archers.
Yes it is. Currently gear doesn’t really matter in terms of quality since you either get oneshoted or can facetank every monster.
cause I see a ton of whine posts, but experiencing the archer class first hand, doesn’t seem that bad
i mean, the problem with archers is that they cant aoe until rank 3 (not effectibly) and is the most effective way of leveling by far.
Also, remember that archer damage depends on Str, not Dext.
Yup, archer is really good. Going cloth is a good idea, too. You don’t need as much evade as a swordsman, since you’re ranged, so you don’t really need leather. The mobs that are really going to hurt you are the ones casting ranged magic, so mdef helps out more.
yep. atm my build is 3dex 2 str every 5 levels, and gemming for crit/spr
