Cleric1 Krivis3 Diev3 Taoist for ausrine?

Does it work 100% for

  1. Dungeons?
  2. World Boss?
  3. PVP?

What is the problem with the build other than cleric1 has limited heals?

Will it gives unlimited invincibility? Just curious if anyone has made it before for maybe Earth Tower Runs.

Taoist for world boss decent dmg.

I don’t have the build, but numerous people have asked me about it.

It does work for supporting infinite Ausrine on your own, but it does have drawbacks to consider as well. Melstis has a fairly long cooldown if you have to cancel it early, and so ultimately if you need to stop channeling it for any reason in particular (placing heals, placing Safety Zone, having to move, having to heal an objective), understand there’s quite a bit of downtime on your trump card.

Fine for dungeons, Zaibas and owls are good for mobile and stationary grind. Fine for world bosses, though more so after R8 if you can take Taoist. Not fine for PvP, as all you have is Ausrine (Krivis assets are close to useless besides for Aukuras, which has a super high cooldown).

It works, but it’s fairly taxing to put that many roles on one person in some situations.

so if r8 taoist
a full int build can maintain ausrine and hit the world boss at the same time?
but the drain of sp may be pretty awesome.

Well you can’t cast during Melstis, so you can’t exactly do both (except for cast, then begin channel, but inevitably you’ll have to stop channeling to cast other things to deal damage). If you’re dealing damage, you’re likely not maintaining Melstis, and vice versa.

Aw I see, thanks for the input, so generally the build is pretty much the 5th guy for invincibility buff, for dungeon run like ET, while soloing bosses may be out of the question due to having to maintain melstis.

There’s no reason to Melstis during general bossing (world boss, Saalus, etcetera) anyways, unless you’re feeling lazy. No harm in just playing for damage at that point.

But wouldnt the damage be slightly low compared to other meta builds with just krivis3 diev3 and taoist?

No, because for the most part the damage of a typical Taoist build is concentrated in Storm Calling + Zaibas. Your auxiliary damage sources outside of that need to compare to other jobs, and Carve Owl is comparable in damage to many of the other options in similar class ranks.

While other builds may output more damage than this build, that’s not why you considered Krivis C3 - Dievdirbys C3, now is it?

It’s simply capable of doing decent damage, but shouldn’t be classified for that sort.

Agreed! It is possible to compete with the rest assuming one reaches the boss earlier than others! And yes the primary reason is for ausrine.
