Hello, I’ve been lurking a bit and I’ve done some research when it comes to cleric but I really don’t know how skill interact with each other or number values, so I kinda need a little help with a build.
My goal is to get pardoner2 when the game releases at least for starters so I’m gonna try it out in the upcoming beta.
That being said, I’d love any help with the following build:
Keep in mind I’ll most likely play with a group of 2-4 during the entire beta and I plan my cleric to be completely support based.
I have a few doubts when it comes to monstrance because I have no idea how DEX values affect each character so yeah, any help would be great :D. Same thing with safety zone and deprotected zone
-Get safety zone 10 and delevel deprotected zone.
-Instead of sacrament or blessing (Both are crap unless chained with fire enchant, and they are crap after mid-game 100+ levels anyway), get monstrance instead, the amount of dex given is insane, which translates to accuracy, critical chance, evasion.
-Get revive in 5, the duration of the invulnerability is key in pvp and some dangerous pve situations.
Everything else is fine.
I don’t know about you, but I don’t like being resurrected with only 5% HP. Lol
The resurrection cast is long, in pvp is worthless. In PvE is easy to resurrect and heal someone without it being damaged. Level 1 is fine.
That’s what I thought, I’d rather have points in aspersio to prevent the death per-se, I switched the blessing points into monstrance. Is blessing that bad to not be worth leveled? not even 1 point? I thought the atk modifier was a big deal or something.
Also, how stat based is cleric? like, is it like any other rpgs that goes like int-spirit balanced rest CON or is something else?
I really have no idea about stats since I haven’t touched the beta yet so any help in advance would be awesome.
If you just want to use Monstrance for its buff then lvl 1 is enough. I don’t know how much the debuff part worth but it scales a bit with SPR at least and you need higher level for more circles to easily debuff more monsters at once.
I think Blessing kinda gets more from its attributes than its levels but that’s a lot of time and money to max out attributes. So a max level 50 attribute gives 100 atk to it and a max level 3 gives +30 hits now if I’m right so with these with level 1 Blessing you would already have 115 atk and 40 hits I guess…with level 10 and max attributes it would be 150 atk and 130 hits. But some says ( like TankezonE ) that it’s useless later on so…dunno… I actually want to test it myself.
Magic skills use INT for magic atk btw and they don’t crit so for an INT type Cleric INT, CON and SPR are good stats.
You can be STR type with Clerics too. Your auto attacks will use STR attack and there are some Clerics that have Physical atk skills like Monk and Paladin that uses STR. With DEX they can get Evasion and Crit Rate. SPR is still helpful for them too because some skills of Clerics scale with it. I guess you could use CON too if you want for HP…
There are even experiments with 1 stat based characters XD… Maybe even a full SPR Cleric can work… I can only advise to look carefully what kind of skills you are aiming for and try to find what suits you best.
