Cleric-Pr3-Dievdirby-Oracle

Hello, I would like some feedback on my stat allocation and skills for this build.
My final goal is to go Oracle, and it’s like to get Priest to circle 3 skills, also I was thinking to grab Dievdirby just cause statues seem cool
First of I’ll like to ask if it’s better to put more stats in Int or how should the allocation go?

For the skills I was thinking something like this: http://www.tosbase.com/tools/skill-simulator/build/hijjobl810/

Also I have a question. I can only use maces for priests? I saw I can also eq a wand but I do no dmg with it using basic attacks.

I don’t like much that I have to buy a lot of consumables to use my skills but oh well, sacrifices must be made

Thank you!

Weaponwise:
Clerics and all their subclasses can use maces, swords, shields and wands as far as i know. Wands only boost magic dmg, and since clerics auto attack is physical based it’s a rather poor option for them.

And you get weapon swap at circle 2, so sword+shield and mace+shield is best due to the cd on cleric dmg spells.

Class wise:
I really wouldn’t pick dievdirby/oracle in that position tbh. You can get both warp scrolls and sp potions from vendors/quests so the first 2 skills are rather redundant. the cd is nice though but i fear doesn’t compare to other circles alone.

Oracle i would just never grab without pardoner for Simony. Which allows you to use it to turn some of the skills into scrolls for profit. Which also means other classes can use 3 or 4 of the oracle skills with very little effort.

Priest is very versatile though, can be used for int, spr, str and tank builds alike. So it depends on what route you want to go.

Statwise:
Con for a tanky healer build.
Str + Con for a standard physical attack build, Works best with paladin or monk physical attacks.
Str + Dex + Con for a physical crit build with evasion. Also works best with paladin or monk physical attacks.
Int + Con for a standard healer/mage hybrid build. Best combined with druid, sadhu or krivis.
Add Spr to boost debuffs/buffs if desired. Works with pretty much any combo for us clerics.

Skillwise:

  • Cure scales really good with int later on. If you go int based, try to put as many points in it as you can. 1 point otherwise.
  • Should try to have 1 point in monstrance for the +30% dex buff for parties imo. And esp if you sadhu.
  • I don’t think lvl 15 blessing is worth it tbh. lvl 10 blessing + attributes make it powerful enough. (the last 5 points add 20 damage per hit)
+If you use blessing always put 1 point into sacrament, the extra hit triggers blessing bonus damage on every auto attack (possibly skill attacks as well, doesn’t work for magic)
  • Max resurrection isn’t worth it imo. put 1 point in it and maybe not even that. You have to understand that any attack will interrupt a cast. So you need safety zone to cast it. Which works just as fine with a 6s cast. And even then respawning is likely faster.
  • Revive can be very useful with just 1 or 2 points in it.
  • Mass heal is very good at lower levels as well. esp for int or spr builds. You’ll likely heal to much with 10 skill levels.

I think Paladin with Priest and Oracle maybe a better choice. Never liked Pardoner for a main char, and the scroll profit is overrated (not surprised people switch to alt to go AFK at night to sell scroll).

As for weapon, Priest has Mace Stun as passive, but better stats will always help as a caster.

Meanwhile, it is pre-mature to think 1 point in the skill is enough. I am not surprised they will scale it on release to make C3 more prominent. Don’t complaint when skill balance comes, cutting corners with 1 point may not get you anyway in end-game.

Thank you for the info! It really helped me re-think some things, and I think I will choose Pardoner after all.
Having a support char for profit is not that bad

u will have enough money, there is no need to sell your spells,

That is what I think as well, I think farming gets more money then selling something that many people may sell. Just like selling potions, the profit margin is low with the competition, and there are limited demand for it.

Usually quest items are the best sellers.
