Cleric Level 15? An OCD Cleric 3 Question

Hi everyone, I have a question regarding taking Heal to level 15 on my C3 Cleric. Without Divine Might, how would the spell look like. a 3x5 rectangle, or a 4x4 square with one missing panel. I have a little OCD thing going on here. Please help

And is it viable to take Guardian Saint, or miss out on Divine Might?

Planning Sadhu on Rank 4.

Thanks!

4x4 square with one missing panel, like a square pac-man.

Not many players use Guardian Saint since it’s not a great skill, or so I read on forums. Divine Might is kinda useful, but it depends on your build I guess.

Urgh, I’ll prolly make it into level 12 i guess. then place points on Cure for extra damage. As for Divine Might, I’m thinking of skipping it, since I tend to forget keeping the buff up. Thanks!

Heal 15 is amazing.
Don’t know why you’d drop it to level 12.
Its a 50% improvement over C2’s heal 10 without Divine Might.
45% improvement when you consider Divine Might in the equation for both Heal 15 and Heal 10.
Thats a huge boost.

Put Divine Might on and it’ll be 4x4.

Heal 15 and Cure 15 are probably the best things you can get on C3.
Not getting Divine Might to at least level 5 just because you don’t feel like keeping up the buff would be a huge waste in your build though. I’d feel uncomfortable partying up with a C3 Cleric without Divine Might at least.

If you want to save skill points, do it on Safety Zone. Just make sure you max the attribute.

Heal lv 15 is an OCD nightmare, I had it once and rerolled.

You can fill it with DM tho.

Thanks for the tips guys. I’m short on skill points since I’m maxing Fade to 10 to maintain OOB in the future. My probable build would be:

Heal 15
Cure 5
Safety Zone 10
Divine Might 5
Fade 10

I’m not too familiar with Sadhu honestly. What stats to do you get? Also is Fade needed for OOB?

Regarding the Guardian Saint not being a great skill… have you tried it yourself? Especially with the attribute’s 25% damage reduction… so you can give it to the “tank” and have him a 25% damage reduction buff for a full 60 sec (if the cleric managed to not get hit 15x at skill lvl 5). Also, I don’t know yet about kToS patch’s boost toward SP and stamina recovery in this particular skill … If the boost toward SP recovery is great, then Guardiant Saint will definitely be a great skill. I’d consider having my own pardoner to create Daino Scroll, drop krivis and take cleric c3 in my build. Both the SP recovery and 25% dmg reduction attribute is unclear yet, and need further testing.

Fade has a 40s CD, and at level 10 it’s 30 secs. With a 10s remaining CD, I can supplement it with Safety Zone until Fade CD passes, that way I can maximize my OOB status and create damage with my INT build. Viable enough?

Hmm, I see. It’s just a shame you can’t max Cure, because it’s incredible damage on an INT build when maxed (including attributes) except against flying monsters.

But I guess if you want to use the Cleric skills mainly to maintain 100% invincibility, I see why you max Fade and Safety Zone.

Keep in mind that Fade erases your damage count on monsters, though.

What do you mean by damage counts? Will that be important? I’m a newbie here

Well for example if you fight a boss, then the players with the highest damage count get the drop. If you use Fade, it gets reset to 0 so your party is unlikely to get the drop, so generally you wouldn’t use Fade on non-instanced bosses.

Regarding that, I did say “or so I read on forums”. I never tried that skill, but I heard quite a bit from some players who used it. With that said, reading about the skill, I believe the skill is not worth spending a whole circle for. 50% chance, charges gets used up no matter who gets the damage, SP recovery is as redundant as Carve Zemyna.

As a Monk, I have no trouble with Stamina either once you get more stamina from equipment and hidden quests. Not many other players found use for the skill so I said it’s not such a great skill worth taking another circle of cleric over unless you have a niche purpose for it.

I have to keep that in mind. Does it reset upon cast? So any damage I do while faded is also at 0, or it starts counting again?

I’d think it doesn’t count as long as you aren’t attacked. Because the value whether you get an item is the same value a monster uses to determine which target to attack.

I guess Fade has its drawbacks. But in a world boss battle, I’d prolly be in a party anyways, so less chances of using fade as long as I keep my distance.

By the way, here are two builds that are fairly similar to your, they have some nice information at the top too, maybe it helps:

u might not need such a high all fade,
since u are gonna be a sadhu,
fade would not be useful to u.

fade disables upon atking ,
so even with all the extension,
u would end up breakign it early.
safety wall on the other hand is something u should consider investing
fade lv 1-5 should be more then enough

and wat is ur future path for classes?
if u want u can even sacrifice 5 points from cure and put them into other cleric skills to boost ur lvls of those skills.
since lv 5 cure dont really help much in dmg,u can keep it at lv 1 just for the curing of debuff

Thanks for the tips! I’ll read on it
