Cleric->Krivis->Chap->Kabba->Inquisitor, Int-Spr based

Does this build can stays in the late game? There are many mobs that HP reached 100k and up. Aspergillum is not make much damage for now so I have to find a party. I want to play in a sup-dps role. If I choose Inquisitor at rank8, will I can soloing again?
I don’t know how much damage can Malleus makes and Wheel-God smash combo can.

Inquisitor works better with Paladin c3 (Conviction doubles God’s Smash damage). They also need DEX for crits (so INT builds don’t fit them that well, unless it’s for pvp I guess?).

I would recommend not splitting into both INT and SPR. Either one or another.

Well to get champlain you already need priest 3 I hope you know …
Champlain is a hidden class that need priest 3 to be accesible (since it spell are kinda based on priest one)

Inquisitor mostly got physicial type spell, I think they got 1 Magic based spell that would profit a int build.

I first thought of that too but then I realized he meant Cleric -> Priest 3 -> Chap -> Krivis -> Kab -> Inqui which is a perfectly viable build.

Ah yeah. Priest 3 then Chaplain. I just make it short for topic name.

yeah bcuz u put krivis b4 chaplain throws ppl off

u can kill some 100k hp mob like qs3 do it with running shot

this would enough for solo questing

u not going to solo grinding

grinding party always welcome you as healer

optimal build (spr)
cleric -> priest3 -> chap -> krivis/cleric2 -> cleric2/krivis -> any
zalciai is good on high spr char and daino is must
***u can skip krivis circle if u wanna spend 3500-4000silver every 3min
or always party with other krivis

optimal build (int)
cleric -> priest3 -> chap -> any
maybe druid3 or cleric2 + doctor/kabba
int scaling better with magic attack class

don’t mix spr/int pick one and go with it

If u want to play a magic damage cleric try to stay away from Inquisitor and Priest c3 builds go for bokor to amp up ur magic damage with hexing etc cause u will need it alot since 330 content mobs are like super resistant to magic for rank 8 maybe go for taoist or something it isnt that worth to go inquisitor since u only have 1 high damage magic skill the rest is mostly phys

Only go Inquisitor on Monk, Paladin or Druid bases for now.

Chaplain might work with aspergillum x breaking wheel, but has not been confirmed yet. Try to avoid building on rumors.

Int/Spr is only recommended on a chaplain/pd2 build as it has plenty of damage to begin with to not notice the lack of int.

Other chaplain builds should wait till miko is out as it looks like a ideal fit for said class. Also enables new synergies via hand clap.

Disregard @Planeptune’s post, krivis got “bug fixed”/nerfed to oblivion (crit res cannot be lower then 0). And chaplain has no ideal r8 stand alone option atm.

@GitGud
Priest is now good int wise due to the exorcism buff in ktos.
Magnus and Miko just add even more to it.

The 1-3k magic res / 1k phys def mobs all can drop the new armor set (upgrade over ) and aren’t that common.
Hexing won’t help enough vs those either, only hengestone or other multipliers like effigy’s 3rd hit will help.

But luckily they should be only tied to a few maps, and don’t ruin builds entirely.

i don’t get pd on any spr build

it take century years doing pd advancement quest as spr300+
(char level220-224)

yup none of rank8 scale with spr

but i still pick krivis+cleric2 over cleric2/krivis+pd in chaplain build

daino is must as i’m not going to spend 3500-4000 silver every3min for daino scroll
zalciai bug fix(-cri resist) but (+crit atk) still good as always
and cleric1->cleric2 boost a lot
heal 5->11 tiles, safety zone 10->40 hits,fade, divine might boost every buff and daino

ofc pd is a good class(probably best)
but i already have many pd char and too many cleric pick pd as rank7
i don’t see any point of getting more than 1 pd in party

for rank8 i would pick pardoner1,oracle1, or maybe cleric3
oracle have nice kit and pardoner boost huge magic defense
i still need more info about inquisitor’s Breaking Wheel
(i know it scale with physical but how it trigger? does it work with party attack or buff attack?)

as int chaplain picking pd as rank7 seem reasonable

Chap and Inquis mesh well for pvp since you lack a ranged option prior to rank 8, and malus is an excellent ranged nuke.

While I have yet to see video proof, I have heard that extra hits transfer to breaking wheel. If so it will be good synergy for int/spr builds.

Magnus is a much better option now for pvp since it lasts forever. Dump that on a raised/stunned/cc’d target for sustained damage. Or just dump it on a dead body to prevent resurrection for a very long time.

God Smash will be less useful unless you do DEX, DEX is nice for the accuracy and evasion so it is viable.

For PVE i would never recommend chaplain in any form, it is sub-par.
