Cleric 2 - Diev 2 - Monk 3 help?

is this build okay? and i’m going for 2:1 str:dex build. is this build viable for pve/pvp ? :smiley: tia

or Cleric2 > Diev > Priest > Monk3
are the most common DPS Monk builds as far as I know (and probably the strongest Melee DPS builds for Cleric)

yes it will. use ausirine for invul and the other statues for zoning then kame kame kame wave.

Turtle defense then kame kame wave.

Yeah it’s also my choice. I just listed the other popular options.
There was somewhere something floating around that claimed Priest1 > Diev1 as the strongest DPS wise in ET.
The idea is kinda stuck in my head…

I think that you were thinking of the buffs given of priest. But blessing and thr other buffs falls off late game. The damage increase is not noticeable.

70% of monks are pries3-monk
Because Stone Skin (something like that), that give u +400 block or more for some seconds (35 seconds), that means is almost the block of a Pelstasta pressing C.
But with Diev build you can make area suport, and win 2 good skills of attack:

Now that I am in the late game I understand why everybody go to priest 3. As a Diev you do not will have much problem to be offensive with carve owl, the best skill of diev 2, but every physical hit you take you will think if was not better to be priest 3 instead diev. The carve owl have countdown, is more a extra damage together with double punch while the countdown dont reset.

So, is More attack vs defense. priest DONT GIVE U extra attack, but insane block.

FOR pvp, the block will be very usefull against archers, specially if you put SPR, while diev can control small areas more easilly, really good for example to defend points or even the guild tower, but you will be very fragile. Instead Druids, hardly a enemy player dies on carve owl, because is stationary skill, and to carve owl, you can miss or be blocked very easily, also the hit box is very very small, you can easily miss the target. and since is a skill with multiple hit, if the targets move you lose half of hits, but is very good against monster, because they dont run for nothing.

the 30% rest of monks are diev-monk
cleric3-monk (a huge, huge carpet of Heal). I saw just 1, but no one died on the mission)
or Krivis-monk (very bad for monk, because zaibas, the best skill increase with int, so you will lose on the rest(whatever you want to invest).
Hardly someone take a different build, but I already saw sadhu-monk and paladin-monk (I do not recomment that).

I have a monk with priest 3, I like the utility with Revive / Mass Heal / Stone Skin and auto/team buff

I’m currently playing C2, Diev2, Monk2, PD. This is a ranged support class imo. Don’t try to 1 shot people like a priest 3 monk3 would do.

Get mid STR, HIGH CON, and some dex for accuracy. Your goal is to be an annoying front line. Drop owls to zone away squishy players, Drop World trees to create zones of silence and prevent casters from advancing. Apply DOT/Bleed/Silence onto tanks so they cannot CC/rush you and burn down their HP while they are running around. Use Energy Blast as a long range disengage. Knock down damage dealers (potentially kill them if possible).

Apply Safety Zone, Heals, Divine might, Cure, and the PD status mitigation skills as needed. OFC this is theorycrafted since we don’t have team battle arena yet Q_Q.

For PVE, I don’t like monk. Bosses are dumb. They don’t focus your DPS classes. Archers can go full damage and destroy things. Play a class that supports the archers and wizards as DPS instead of rolling DPS monk. And yet when I say this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NvPq47io95Y
