My Inquisitor buildup is identical to your thread title, so here’s some 2 cents:
For C1 Monk @R7
If your intention of going Monk is for DP Strike debuff, don’t. 10% chance per punch could easily screw up your skill rotation. Pally-Inquisitor has a time limit to maximize their burst rotation from Conviction and Wheel duration. You can easily end up losing DPS from trying to get the debuff in.
If it’s for 0 CD filler, make sure that your having a stable latency as it makes a HUGE difference. Some TCP optimization for your PC may help (at least it does in my case).
Pre Toy Hammer nerf DP brings a very respectable damage which happens to be half the reason of my R7 Monk choice. Now imo it needs a decent weapon to really shine especially on very high - pure dex build, i.e. 5x yellow gem Five Hammer or transcended Vienarazis. Couple that with MM and Conviction min-maxing it’s a good filler.
For C1 Diev @R3
Laima should be your major reason to go for Diev. Carve Attack isn’t that worthwhile.
Laima eases your skill rotation by a fair bit, so that’s a big plus. But considering how many Diev3s are around, well…
Inquisitor is good at burst mostly through wheel and pears. Place the wheel right on top of boss and (conviction) god smash or smite away, and you get both damage dealt directly on boss as well as the instance spread from wheel. Now the bad news, you can’t do that with Carve. It’s a single target skill so you either hit the wheel or the boss. Spreading Carve damage through wheel imo isn’t that worthwhile either, and it kills the wheel fairly quickly. It’s cute that you get to recycle some woods out of it though.
Other than that it’s mostly QoL stuffs, warps, extra weight, pseudo taunt, fast sp regen ticks, slightly easier earlier leveling. Nothing significant imo.
If anything I might suggest to switch R3 with Priest instead.
