Cleric 1 - Priest 3 - Pardoner 2

Good evening guys,

First of all, i’ve already tried to find the answer at the forum. Didn’t found what i need to know.

I’m starting to play ToS and i want to begin with a money maker character.
I’m thinking about a C1/Pr3/Pa2 to sell buffs. The build i’ve already know what to do, but, the problem here is the stats. I’m a solo player, and, i didn’t found any answer for this single problem, what stats distribuition should i go? Con/Spr? Str/Dex? Int/Con/Spr? I’m really lost here.

If anyone talk about “create another build” please, talk about this build/stats because it’s really dificult to me as a beginer player to find some answers.

Thanks for your attention!

Best Regards,
Hugo Alves

I made one with CON/SPR, since you will be maxing blessing. It will provide you AND you party member with decent attack for EVERY LINE of damage.

  • even if you’re a solo player, you will be doing mission/event and dungeon runs, which means you’ll be in a party (if you are new, quequeing for a dungeon/mission will give you more exp boost) so lets boost the damage of the party to decrease run time.

Just put enough CON points for whatever hp you feel like is enough based on your playstyle. Dump the rest of your points into SPR.

The one problem with CON/SPR is that you have low heal value in mission and dungeons (INT increases the healing of “heal” skill, INT and SPR increases healing of “mass heal” skill).

Buff shop blessing does not use your stats. So you do not have a fixed stat build to get pardoner shop.

You should stat to level as fast as possible since you will stop at rank 6 shop.
Max blessing, aspersion, sacrament for shop.

Items to level faster:
-cafrisun set
-arde dagger
You will buff yourself with blessing most. Buy sacrament at pardoner shop.

Add CON until comfortable with survival.
SPR => better blessing buff by your own blessing to level faster (recommended).

EDIT: ^ Ninja’d

it depends on skills you want to use, but I would say you want to focus on surviving (CON)…

also, I think the buffs sold take into account the other person stats, so you should concentrate on max leveling and reinvesting the money in maxing the attributes of what you want to sell…

pretty much it.

You will need max attributes. You are gonna use sacrament buff from other pardoner shops while levelling till very late (rank 5+) so don’t bother with points in it before the end.

I would go for 50 con naked rest spirit, should be more then enough for low level contest.

Also, farm cafrisun set (it’s amazing with blessing and sacrament buff)

Aside from 15 aspersion 15 blessing 10 sacrament I would go for 4/5 stone skin (to make you tankier) and 1 resurrection (to ress people off combact while exping in istances to make the run faster overall)

spirit priest is an amazing monster as a melee till rank 5 if geared properly, so no worries while exping

Guys, thank you very much for your fast and amazing answers.
With your opinions, i have in my mind pretty much what i’m going to do.

For those who seek for this kind of char information, i’ll post here the evolution of him =)

Here are some things to think about before you continue.

  1. There is little to no money to be made on a buff pardoner. You will get under cut if you are “unknown” and when (not if) it happens all profit stops. If you “go with the flow” and follow other pardoner prices in your area, you are competing with other more established vendors that have a (more often than not) loyal clientele. If you do manage to get some profit it will be in the 100’s.

  2. You are at the mercy of server stability (really bad right now). If the channel you are on crashes (happens often enough) your vendor is gone until you set him up again (meaning, again no money). Scribes are safer in that respect since scrolls will stay in the market until they expire.

  3. It is WAY more profitable to farm the silver than to vend for it. Here are some ways to make silver faster (compared to the rate of vendors).
-Mooching off district 2 or dina bee farm bots (I made close to 500k just "walking in front of a bot to collect loot and silver they did not pick up).
-130/145 dungeon solo full clear nets ~150k per run at around 15-45mins per run (depending on build).
-290 dungeon boss rush nets 120-130k per run at around 3mins per run

If you are “dead set” on a vendor, then here are your choices (not in a particular order) and why.

full SPR or SPR/CON
This build focuses on [blessing] since the buff scales with SPR. The full equation is skill damage + [(0.06 x SPR) + (0.02 x INT)] x (skill lv - 1). This is only “ideal” if you plan to stop at pardoner 2 for the vendor skill. If you plan to go to rank 8 with this it sorta isn’t a good idea because SPR cleric builds got nerfed and as of now, no skills past rank 6 skill with SPR anymore.

In terms of healing it is “OK” for the content you are facing (harder to heal as you go past rank 6 if you want to go there). Just know that you can’t heal through “stupid” (you shouldn’t even try).

full INT or INT/CON
This build focuses on everything else other than your pardoner ranks. It basically boosts your damage in general too. It’s also easier to choose rank 7-8 because INT works with a lot of cleric classes.

Now if you want to go to rank 8, here are my picks.

  1. Chaplain into inquisitor is ok (not the best but it’s “ok”) on the SPR variant. Chaplains can work with SPR and inquisitors can still supply support via [breaking wheel] splash (for the party) and [MM] scales with number of hits (something you have plenty off).

  2. Plague doc 2 is ok on the SPR variant while good on the INT variant. The focus of this would be to apply your dots and extend their duration via [discerning evil] from pardoner. Lv 10 extends debuff duration by 20 sec.

Again, IMHO pardoner 2 for the buff shop is not a good idea for money.

Your answer was amazing, really thank you very much for your kind and attention!

Supposing that i would not follow this guild considering what you said… What classes should i follow as farmer? Any other?

@linck.hg

Regarding farming classes: Cleric C1 > Priest C3 > Pardoner C2 is very good for afk farming, alchemists and squires are pretty good at that too.

When it comes to actively farming silver it’s either Warlock C2 or Necro C2+ (afk farm).

I +1 c2gaming.seetoo’s recommendation. I have made both squire3 and pardoner2 (without being informed that we cannot make 2 offline shop at once), and the profit I would make in a year won’t be even worth the time levelling either character compared to the time of farming a thaumaturge in 145 dungeon.

I wouldn’t recommend getting Priest-Pardoner as your money making char. The money from it is so little, you’d start questioning your life choices. I made one and I barely take any money out from it. Once youv’e sold all your buffs, you will basically just restock them with all the money you’ve earnt.

Are you “completely new”? As in no character yet? I ask because some classes are more newbie friendly than others. Are you open to non cleric choices?

If you want to make money from Pardoner, the best way is to just sell Monstrance,Daino&Barrier scrolls. Even with the reduced tax (50->30%), the silver amount you can earn with buff shop isn’t that much (currently it’s a little more cause the bugs keep deleting our buffs after entering/running a dungeon).

So,for the Pardoner to be effective to make money, you’d need the following build: C1>Priest1>Krivis1>Paladin3>Pardoner1(or 2 if you really want the spellshop, but you won’t really be able to level well enough with that build and your buffs will only be lvl 1-5 anyway).

You could also go Cleric 2>Krivis2>Pardoner3 and sell Aukuras,Daino and Cure scrolls. Especially lvl 11-12 Cure&Daino Scrolls will net a nice income, and if you manage to up it to rank 8-9 later on, you will be able to sell lvl 16 scrolls of both types which will become even more essential with the rising number of buffs later on. Aukuras in combination with Agility buff by Enchanter will become more viable with the following ranks, so it might provide a nice bonus $$$ if you max it,too.
