I’m now wiz3-ele3 and I’m still thinking what to choose as r7.
To be honest I know that warlock is the best choice so far. But is there any alternative? I don’t like the warlock class much. Would be a linker1 or rune caster be viable?

Pve definitely warlock.
Pvp,
psycho swap, telekinesis things onto ur aoe.
Warlock for crazy melee dmg.
Cryo for some cc.
Linker for link+magic missile combo.
Dont know about featherfoot to say much.
Cant say cryo is that good of choice unless u intend to go further.
FeatherFoot or Rune Caster are both a smart choice if u dont like warlock

Because your build is DPS focused, and wont be good if u choose a low rank class as a rank 7, FF and RC can give you skills with a great dmg that you can use between frost cloud… also you can choose any new class as rank 8… sage would be nice… or FF 2… also have nice skills
I think Rune caster is a good choice if you got wizard c3, more aoe skills.

IF Linker doesn’t get changed than Linker 2 is a good idea for Elememe 3.
Warlock 2 , FF 2, Sorc 2 , Necro 2, Kino 2, Pyro 2, Thauma 2 and RC > anything are probably your best options.
uhm i just started a new char with this in mind
wiz > cryo > link > ele c3 > ???
or maybe i go with this:
wiz c3 > link > sorc c2 > ???
any ideas on what i should take as r7 class or should i go linker c2 a r7 then proceed to sage at r8?
I wouldn’t go for ele without wizard c3 because of quickcast.
Your second path looks good I think. I love linker-sorcerers. 
the 1st build is lightning/ice build, heres the skill build
(up until r6 and wiz 1 got 8 extra skill points unspent, which skills should i max it with?)
what should i get as r7 on the two builds, their stat builds, and their rank 8 classes?
