OK so before i start i know people are going to hate and some people will like this, i don’t post on forums at all but i want feed back on my idea.
THE IDEA
So rather than Class Resets as simple as they come, i’m thinking class Unlocking (so to speak), so how this would work is it would be account bound and every class you manage to get to class 15 would be ‘Unlocked’ for class reset (Possibly reset from a Npc) on that account.
Not delving too deep into how you reset was thinking maybe a Npc which cost “your lvl x 1000 silver” in a system similar to the ToS skill simulator, but this is null and void if people don’t like this so i wont go too deep into this.
All that is IMPORTANT is that when you Reset you will be able to reset all previous classes Except your Current one Unless that current class is lvl 15 (Solely to prevent people resetting at class lvl 1 then resetting back at 15 to unlock higher rank classes).
HOW IT WORKS
So an example of this, is say i have a swordie that is your basic hate build,
Sw>Sw>Barb>Barb>Barb
and by this point you will have unlocked -swordie c2 and barbarian c3 for reset (assuming Barb c3 its class 15)
then you think to yourself geez nobody is inviting me to parties cause i got no swash so then you would make a alt which would be
Sw>Pelt
Once the Pelt is class 15 it would then be ‘Unlocked’ for reset (would probs delete that character after, game needs more character slots)
You can then change your first build by getting rid of the trap that is Swordie c2 to
Sw>Pelt>Barb>Barb>Barb.
Then TADA you can then have a Pelt in your build and possibly not get kicked from parties… Possibly.
Just using swordie as an example but is probably the most basic problem people seem to have (Don’t even have a Barb).
THOUGHTS
i really want some feed back on this the whole idea of this was so that you can reset to classes that you have already previously leveled, and of course makes the higher rank classes harder to ‘Unlock’.
Might also act as some incentive to play the ‘Less Popular’ Classes.
If your a more hardcore player and have “Eventually” unlocked every class in your tree i can see the flaw in being able to reset into any class they want to but hey, those people had to level each of those classes.
See any Problems, see anything that could be added to this idea please reply (see if i respond).
