Class progression?

Hi all,

I was wondering how the class progression worked. From what I’ve read here and there I’m getting the idea that you can chose any, like start cleric and then choose something from the swordsman tree? Can you even select something lower in the tree?

I’m using this as reference for what I call “trees”: http://info.tos.nexon.com/community/job/list.aspx

I hope someone can explain this to me.
Thanks in advance.

no, you can choose between 4 starting classes swordsman, cleric, archer and wizard, after getting classe lvl 15 you can advance into 2 new classes or progress into the second cycle of your current class (up until cycle 3).

You stay in the same tree as the main class you choose…

So, going from mage to cleric tree wont be a thing…

I never played the game so what i’m gonna write here is based on information i could absorb from videos and fansites.

You pick a starter class and when you reach class level 15 you can choose between two new classes or stay in your current class. If you choose to stick to your current class it will actually be a level 2 class that grants your current skills more levels to upgrade to and some new skills.

If you pick one of the new classes available, you won’t be able to change to the previous class lv2 ever again. In return you will be able to get lots of different skills, better and/or useful ones.

Something like this

And for instance, if you go Cleric, then Krivis, can you then get Dievdirbys? Or does it have to be straight down?

Yes you can.

This is a skill simulator, you can have an idea how the whole system works by taking a look: http://www.tosbase.com/tools/skill-simulator/

As you can see on the simulator, you can go Krivis and after that you can go Krivis “Lv 2”, Bokor or Dievdirbys.

I see!
Thank you, that’s very helpful!
