Miko quest: Strange Mutant plant part
The plant will glow briefly (random chance). For example, it took 10 minutes waiting before it started glowing. It glowed for ~5 seconds.
Interact before it stops glowing to complete this part.
This is how you know it is glowing:
If I would play again, I would prefer male miko (kannushi) so I would have to make a new char (female -> male).
Would just get miko to use hamaya since some new nerfed mob (timerys temple for example) Holy resistance makes them die very swiftly to holy skills. It kills flying too, I really hate flying since I had leveled a cleric3.
Currently diev3 miko is popular since clap extends statue duration.
Though KToS favourite miko usage is Kagura Dance support, I have seen full support builds get miko too.
Only builds without miko are druid3 builds, oracle3 shop builds, and the Oracle Kabba Inquis PvP build. Lately some Bokor_ diev_ miko_ plague2 builds have been sighted (AoE focus).
thanks for the answer, hope you come back some day and IMC gives us reasons for you to do so.
I’m making a female Cleric 3 > Priest 2 > Miko > PD 2 and to be honest, if you have intentions of doing so you should be using this event, 2 from the three bosses are weak to Holy, I actualy do the runs of my Cleric C3 > Priest C2 FASTER than my Plague Doctor’s or my Warlock’s.
One more thing, about the debuff Kagura Dance causes giving +70% holy damage on enemies, does it stay for a while on the boss/mob or does it disappear as soon as you stop channeling? Because if it stays it’s good to use Heal Bomb after it for bosses, if it doesn’t then it’s just for Cure and Hamaya.
The kagura buff does not linger a lot, sadly. It ends when your dancing stops.
Holy & DoT build, looks nice. Just difficult to fight flying with skills until miko at rank 6.
Miko advancement will be available when you have fulfilled all conditions (completed the Tasks/quest chain):
I’ve been planning a similar build, but with Pardoner1 instead of Priest C2. But the thought of having to compete with so many people when class changing is holding me back ;( (Telsiai)
I thought about Pardoner but I’m going very close to full INT so Revive matters. Pardoner brings only 1 skill that will mostly be useful to prolong Serpentine, Freeze and stuff, PD 2+ doesn’t really need that much time on debuffs, probably only if you plan on soloing hard bosses super fast or something.
15 Heal + Ress + Revive + Mass Heal feels pretty great, got 0 CON at level ~150 and I barely die, never got anything other than 1st on those holy-weak event bosses. (~50 att on Cure and Heal Bomb)
Regarding Hamaya: Higher base damage than Frost Cloud, same tick speed, Holy element, hits flying, can have +50~70% multiplier from Kagura, lasts for a maximum of 20~26 seconds on a 35 CD, only problem is 10 targets and small hitbox.
The quest itself doesn’t need to be done in any order, only people who know how to do the quest and got characters ready will be doing it in the first days. Eventualy it will be a really small amount of players doing Miko quests. But yes, it will most likely take me at least two weeks to get that shitty quest done.
Yeah the Pardoner is more of a personal want. Like… I was going to go for a Paladin-Pardoner because I really wanted a battle build with Pardoner in it. I just really like the concept of extending debuffs. But then, I don’t really want to make another Inquisitor. So I thought of making a Pardoner-PD build instead since it seems to be the only other build that can make use of Pardoner on its own.
Yeah I’m really just taking Miko just because of Hamaya. I really want to not take Miko but Hamaya seems to just be too good to miss
I’m playing in Telsiai so I’m expecting the worst
Yeah, I like Discerning Evil too but it’s only 1 spell for an entire rank, but well, it really is a matter of personal want.
Actualy I’m taking it for DM 10 + Broom = +2 skill levels, GS + Kagura Dance for safe cast and awesome damage booster, and obviously, Hamaya.
Well, good luck for us, I’m on Silute so I don’t even know what to expect
