I think it wont, maybe 4 oracle c3 will make it. It heals fast the boss if it failed, imagine the effect of healing factor. I dont id it can be canceled though.
Yes but ToF has a damage limit so it wonāt work on very high HP bosses (if I remember right the unique limit for ToF was 999k damage?).
None. Keep it lv 1.
Not sure as it isnāt possible to pick buff-removing classes and oracle c3 with only 8 ranks. Perhaps Oracle 3 Miko 1 at rank 9 will be able to cancel out the enemy healing buff, but even then, Iām not sure that class selection would be worth it.
Oracle C3 is quite terrible for PvM atm. Better wait for a class rework if you really want to play one.
EDIT:
Iād like to mention some of the information in this topic is already outdated. Counter Spell has had itās duration at 10 sec and cd reduced to 60 sec in kToS, Prophecy duration has been changed to 25 sec (regardless of skill lvl), Forecast received an atrib to give +100 evasion, Death Sentence changed to make enemies take additional damage for a few seconds, and Fortell changed to be 100% invulnerability.
All in all, the changes are still underwhelming and Oracle c3 is still a quite bad choice for PvM.
Nope (at least unless Tomb Lord card affecting damage on boss monsters is confirmed).
The reason is simple: currently, the maximum level of Twist of Fate is limited to 6.
This means, that the maximum damage it can deal vs boss monsters is 20,5-24%.
With 4 Oracle C3s, youād be able to reach a total damage of 82%-96%.
If Tomb Lord card actually works, however, the value gets increased by 15% to 94,3%- 110,4%, which has an average of ~ 102%, so the boss would die on average but realistically speaking still survive a few attempts.
This all changes drastically with Rank 9,though, because of Double Chance and Death Sentence rework.
Double Chance will be able to reach level 11, so youāll be able to deal 3x110% of 20,5% HP damage minimum and 9x110% of 24% HP damage maximum (if we neglect the possibility of Tomb Lord or other damage cards to affect the skills output), thatās 67,65% HP damage minimum and 237,6% HP maximum damage.
Death Sentence will now add additional damage for 10 seconds, depending on skill level, so at max current level (11) youāll be able to get another 85% bonus damage out of your Twist of Fate.
However, due to the damage cap, this will only boost the damage against low-HP bosses (somewhere below 7 million HP), against higher HP you have no choice but to rely on Kabbalists Gebura/Double Chance to kill the boss monster with 1-3 Oracles.
Fun fact about change :
- It doensāt count for monster spawn. Been doing it in Hanamings and they keep spawn.
Technically, I guess we can reach Inf monster in map? - The changed monster isnāt bounded to the original area (so probably can travel across all map, havenāt tried it this far yet)
- You can ± levels as many times as you want. Possible 500+ lvl monster?
Ps. :Please, someone check if linker + change works ( there is that teleport+linker thing so maybe)
Does Death Sentence work on Bosses? I was thinking of comboing it with ChaPriestās Revive and Zealotās Fanaticism/Blind Faith for some crazy burst.
Good thing you asked, but no death sentence does not affect bosses at all.
Few other Oracle-related tid-bits:
- Twist of Fate isnāt affected by Death Sentence either.
- Foretell only invulns dmg if you move around in the circle, stand still and youāll take full dmg.
Iām thinking of making an Oracle for farming the Manahas set and low drop rate items in general. What are some peopleās favorite builds for pairing with Oracle 1 for this purpose?
Dievderbys seems like an obvious choice because it can decrease the cooldowns on Reset. If I take Miko, I only need C1 Dievderbys to maintain 100% uptime on statues with Clap
Currently, Iām thinking either the standard Earth Tower support so I can use the character for endgame content, a Pardoner without Chapplain (still priest 3) so I can sell buffs when not using the character for resetting rare drops, or a standard Zealot using Dievderbys 3 instead of Krivis 3
Are there any other farming-friendly interactions on other cleric classes I might have looked over?
I have priest1 - krivis1 - paladin3 - pardoner1 - oracle1 scroll crafter from long ago. Itās quite OK to craft and sell scrolls. Can change it into priest1 - diev1 - paladin3 - pardoner1 - oracle1, new krivis skill scrolls are quite useless. Back in the day daino scroll still useful, now just aukuras scroll to draw aggro.
Is it ok to sell/make scrolls only with a lv 1 Pardoner? I think Iāll save making a Pardoner for doing a dedicated Pardoner build, but that is a pretty nice option for having an oracle and still making barrier scrolls.
For the time being Iām looking at a Zealot finish to my build. I really want the Miko and Deiv interaction for cooldown reduction.
Cleric1, Priest/Krivis3, Deivderbys1, Oracle1, Miko1, Zealot2
Obviously full SPR, the only problem is that I donāt have Kabbalist for SP recovery, but I donāt think itāll matter because this is just a farming build and Iāll be doing a lot of sitting and waiting for cooldowns around statues anyway.
Only a matter of deciding on priest or krivis.
yes, just need pardoner 1 level 1 simony to craft scroll. Scroll price increase a lot if you craft level 2+ scrolls. Well, scrolls donāt sell very well. Just barrier scroll is OK~ sale. Also have a look on your server market. Go to market and type āskillā and press search. If there are already many scrolls, perhaps you will not have a big profit.
My own scrolls, I sell 900 silver each on market.
Cost to make: 500 silver + 1 parchment (total 700 silver cost to make 1 scroll) (level 1 scroll).
Small profit, at least useful for some players.
-barrier decent sale
-restoration decent sale
-monstrance decent sale
-forecast decent sale
-cure decent sale
-arcane energy low sale
-aukuras low sale
-zalciai low sale
-daino low sale
-turn undead low sale
deprotected zone and clairvoyance can also be scrolled but I wonāt, not worth.
If you want to buy scroll, I recommend restoration (5 min duration which will increase your healing power a little bit for clerics) and forecast (gives +100 evasion buff for 5min and will show mob attack AoE). Monstrance for DEX class, and barrier to skip siaulai torch room. Other scrolls just luxury.
Very interesting. I actually have an Enchanter already, and I kind of just like collecting and using the skills when leveling my alts. So having a Pardoner for scrolls as well seems like fun. I guess you build this with STR then since Paladin is the main class?
Yes, I build it with STR and SPR. Just casually level it in dungeon, slowly.
So I realized that with rank 9, I can fit Miko into this scroll crafter build too if I drop either Priest or Krivis. Final build would be
cleric > krivis1/priest1 > dievderbys1 > Paladin 3 > Oracle1 > Miko > Pardoner1
Krivis scrolls seem to be the least valuable so losing the Krivis doesnāt seem like a bad deal to me. This build can keep up goddess statues idefinately in order to spend less time waiting for Resetting to cool down, sell scrolls, do oracle things and clear weak enemies decently with Paladin skills.
really doesnāt seem like a bad idea if Iām going to use a character slot for a farming Oracle at all, though the zealot build would probably be much more fun to play.
