Hello guys, looking foward to the beta.
Thinking about making a Sapper (the one with traps). Have anyone already tried it? I have a question regarding this class:
- how do I increase traps damage? (int or dex)
Any help is welcome
Thanks guys

Trap damage is based on str
Thanks bro. Any other tip?
Do I use a bow?
Isnt it based on patk, skill attack - def?
Theres no weapon requirement so you can do 2hbow or xbow+shield/dagger/pistol depending on what else you have.
2 hand bow is the strongest though.
@lajkonikes, patk yes, but since he mentioned int/dex in his op I took it to mean raw stats. so str is the main one.
STR affects P Atk, Critical Atk and Weigh Limit.
Is this the first game that Dex doenst increases archers damage?
Hey @OtterTamer , could u check the build I just made and tell me if it’s viable in any sort of way?
Sure, couple of things
Fulldraw sucks at early levels, better to put it into swift step
pick stone is just a pre-req for stone shot, either skill is useless without the other (and can only be used with xbow)
stake stockades is the main skill for leveling, because it’s free and doesn’t take too long to set up like other traps, claymore has it beat damage wise but its also the most expensive trap to use, I’d swap your detonate trap points with stockade. detonate is more for the screwing over magic enemies than straight up damage, and since you have rogue capture it’ll be less essential for you than your average sapper
broom trap is really good, put as many points into it as you can. (can probably move the point from collar bomb, a lv 1 skill won’t be worth much, to fill the rest of the points for it take them from stockade)
the rest looks good C:
Thank you very much @otterTamer It was really really handy. I’ll take every advise in consider. thanks once again
Sure thing buddy, gl in game!
@letmedeletemyaccount, I only scratched the surface of sapper in icbt1 (almost didn’t reach it at all) but I intend to circle 3 it this beta to test. So I guess you can see where my answer lies in that. What i’ll say is that Ranger is very positioning oriented, enemies need to be lined back to front for anchoring, side to side for barrage and clustered for bounce shot. For sapper (and especially with broom trap and stockade) you can just run around in circles and create a death zone for enemies to just walk into and die.
