You are still. If you go full CON to achieve that kind of damage with Blood Curse, your other skills are gonna suck hard. Notice that Blood Sucking in that video was only doing 900 damage per tick (probably level 1 but still). Not to mention your other alternatives are all single target skills that will never manage to kill groups of monsters without JP.

That video was actually posted as part of a solo grinding guide for FF C2, but the comments instead pointed out that using the usual JP + HK + BB/MM rotation would have been faster. The skill was, like Blood Bath, intended to be a party off-healing skill, but IMC as usual had to ■■■■ up with non-scaling bullshit and more generally not knowing how much health people can achieve endgame.

For me FF C2 only brings another reliable, low CD dps skill in the form of Kundela Slash, and that’s about it. If I ever pick up this game again I will only put 1 point in both Levitation and Blood Curse for utility.

But that is a low level blood sucking and no equipment. His build heavily relies relies on links to do anything AoE (Link 3 > FF 2) with no other dps skill aside from MM.

I think that with full CON, damage gap isn’t that high considering that our hit counts do not reach as high as Ele 3 (Not nearly as gimping) and of course we will get far better equipment + transcending options which would invalidate the matk gained from INT unless they change how it scales.

And how does taking Sorcerer or Necromancer give you any skills that can be used effectively without JP? JP is literally the only reason why any of our pre-rank 8 skills are even relevant right now. In fact, if they reverted JP back to before the kTOS repository merge happened, no wizard build will be competitive at rank 8.

The new meta for dps wizard is now Wiz3 Link2/3 + X, because JP is stupidly overpowered.

This combo should work. Resource intensive but it alleviates the need for JP if I wanted to do AoE.

Luckly I have my necro-feather-thauma decay combo wich will help too. The mobs affected will die in 9 seconds.

I almost forgot that. That maybe good as well for down times.

Maybe transpose works for Blood Curse?

It does work with blood curse but of course you have to refill your hp first before casting BC else you die.

Also, Shrink body nullifies the damage from mobs.

How’s the decay combo working for you? I’ve been reading on Reddit that most mobs lvl260+? are immune to decay =(

Yep most mobs are immune to it at high level. Not sure if it works to the new mobs.

Guys, it was a bug. Now all mobs receives all types of debuffs

Is this true? I already removed ngadhundi in my high level featherfoot. I will have to wait a bit for my necro > ff to test it out in storage. Can you post screenshots? That will be very helpful. Thanks

I was grinding in Maven Abbey today and I’ve noticed that the red nuos are imune to joint penalty yet. But, the blue nuos now takes decay effects. I’ll post some screenshots.

this is a bug or something? or hidden combo?

I’m assuming you’re referring to elizeu_os’s 9sec decay combo. Nope. It’s known that multiple decay debuff stacks.

…although the last i’ve about it, it’s only as strong as something around Nghadhudi + Dirty Pole + Shoggoth = 15 secs 0HP…

For your community.
