[Class] Featherfoot Thread

At first i was excited about FF new skills damage from the official video, but now blood curse scales with HP?! This is disappointing…

What should i go if im not going FF C2? I want to go for sage but my build is Wiz3>Link2>Necro1>FF…not an good ideas i guess…>_<

Did some calculations. Looks like this is how blood curse is computed. A little bit close to the values that you have provided.

Blood Curse: 10k HP
HP = 10,000 * 0.8 = 8,000
[(11,597 + 2000) + 8,000] x 1.5 = 32,395

Blood Curse: 77k HP
HP = 77,000 * 0.8 = 61,600
[(11,597 + 2000) + 61,600 ] x 1.5 = 112,795

I was wondering what his build is. I think knock back can be solved by simply using reflect shield.

Perhaps Levitation > JP > HK > Blood Curse > Reflect Shield > Blood Sucking would work?

That seems about right. I forgot to mention that he was using the attribute that raises the HP consumption to 80%, so it seems that the consumed HP is simply added to the skill attack value.

He’s talking about replenishing your HP before using Blood Curse. Using it after is not a problem since you’ll be levitating. Also Reflect Shield doesn’t prevent knockbacks 100% of the time.

Yep I kinda assumed that he was using 80% HP cause the 60% hp consumed value will not come close to the values that you have provided.

Unless Pure CON or Full INT thauma, I guess we can ignore this skill else it deals pathetic damage. I think knockdown skills are not prevented by reflect shield but knock backs are (ie. howl skill of poata in sialus mission / knockback of blue nuos etc.). But I absolutely have no idea how the new monsters work.

The prevention is not 100% from my experience. My skills got cancelled pretty often while grinding in Storage even with Reflect Shield on.

FF sounds so good on paper but its sustain is gimped so much on everything other than Bloodsucking. :tired_face: Why IMC? DX

:worried: Now I have no idea what my R7 and R8 are going to be.

Guess the formula is basically HP consumed + a multiplier from the skill.
For me that skill will just not fit, I was hyped by the levitation but FFc2 as it is, it doesn’t worth a whole cycle for my build ;w;
Sage is getting all the spotlights right now, just waiting for the nerfs or the “amazing only in theory” thing.

The formula is:
{ [Skill damage + Magic Attack + Magic Amp (value fluctuates)] + [Max HP * 0.8] } * Quick Cast Attribute

Made me think as well but I am still going for FF circle 2.
I have both Wiz 3 > Link > Sorc 2 > FF and Wiz 3 > Link 2 > Necro > FF. One gets to be an enchanter/sage the other becomes ff 2.

is sorc2 still good for ff2

are the riding skills really that powerful?

Eh despite the difficulty of using blood curse i’ll probably still be going ff2 on my ele - sage doesn’t really benefit it all that much. It’ll be nice to have a low cd damage move like kundela slash atleast despite the range. It seems linker got screwed a bit harder since you cannot use bloodbath or slash while flying.

At the very least im glad bloodsucking affects all mob types now with the new gloves, though its a bit buggy (it seems while using it on plant/mutants you can drain hp with any skill like frost cloud and hail).

Honestly I don’t see myself using bloodcurse much outside party play or without mikos antimagic scrolls/sage anti missile damage. Sage might be a good option at r9 for ff2 if ff3 isn’t good by comparison, since it’d make you invulnerable to most attacks during levitate.

One thing I will say though, i’m way more dissapointed by warlock c2 than by ff c2.

On the video they seem to be using +20 weapons, since they all have a red glow. Who knows if they aren’t transcended too. Also, I read that Kundela Slash damage is doubled on hexed enemies. Yay for that single point in Bone Pointing.

does featherfoot work with ele?

Yes, all elementalist skills hit targets normally as far as I am aware while flying (except maybe prominence? I would need to test it). The only skills you cannot use while flying as ff2 is skills that are considered melee like kundela slash, bloodbath etc.

Is it better than warlock in pure damage? honestly its hard to tell, I do around 7k rapidly with 60% attribute on bloodsucking, and 5k with 30% bloodbath. They’re nice to use during ele skill downtime. The sustain is insane with the new gloves though.

Thanks for the info, didn’t notice that glow before you mentioned. Yay to unrealistic damage figures from the devs! Anyway, now I got tired of the game, there’s no endgame content, and even trying to get anything useful from dungeon runs is boring. Kill the same mobs 3 times a day, try to earn silver to open cubes 3 times, get cards and talts, rinse and repeat. Boring. Not even sure if I’m ever going to make FF2.

Not totally unrealistic, the problem is it scales based on HP. Some korean guy with 77k for instance, did hit for 113k with blood curse. I would say the kundela slash is definetly unrealistic though (maybe around 20k on a hexed mob, would be more realistic).

so should i go Wiz3 Ele3 FF2 or Wiz3 Link Sorc2 FF2

Where did you get the gloves? :smiley:

Hmm, right now I’m definitely going for a Wiz > Pyro 2 > Link1 > Sorc 2. Problem is, what comes for R7 and R8? After seeing the Wiz R8s, I’m certain that I’m game for Sage so I can dupe those balls and them bats (still praying for Summon though!).

R7? Hmm… FF for bloodsucking sustain? WL for DT and the Pole? Sorc3 for more bats and summon power? Or maybe another class altogether? :dizzy_face:

Will be rolling a Wiz3 for my next mage though.

240 dungeon, I think I mentioned it elsewhere in the thread too.
