[Class] Bokor Thread

  • Can only spawn from large monsters which there isn’t a lot in game. Take Suliai missions for example. None at all =(

Umm…I got my first large zombie from testing it out at hanamings so I dont think this applies anymore:O

Wow, REALLY?? Gonna head back and test once I’m home. Was still doing the Level 240 Dungeon last week and could only get large zombies out of that red dog like mob which is the only large monster in the dungeon.

Gotta stock up your zombies before entering the arena. At least with the latest companion patch, you won’t be running into this situation anymore XD

I got it on the uhh…start of hte map next to orsha x.x wif the lil furry things n stuff.

I have it at 10% and Ive only ever gotten another one from royal maso and I cant be sure if it was from the boss or one of the traps or an add that it spawned from O_O

hello, can you advice me best path for pvp bokor but still viable to play ET and dungeon party?
what do you think about mine here http://www.tosbase.com/tools/skill-simulator/build/cs2wivfbnj/

Aww… well, that made sense.

This is the only Large monster in that map. I’m guessing you probably got it by zobifying him.

Ugh…what level is your zombify for large one right now? I m pretty sure it was teh racoon thingie I got it from since it was literally the place where the very first quest was.

I’m at 35 on the large one, 40 on the wheelies. I highly doubt they’ve changed that. But will check it out when I’m home later.

IMHO don’t get zombies if you’re not going for C3 Bokor.

The main strengths and essentials of zombies are

  1. Strength in Numbers
  2. Ogouveve - Buffs your zombies damage based on 1/2 your INT value
  3. Samdeveve - Makes them walk faster allowing them to catch up to their targets.

As for your current path… You’re planning for Rank8?

Usefulness after rank 6… I’m doing level 240 dungeons and they’re still useful for soloing quests till there. They’re not THE BEST DPS but still pretty manageable.

Originally I was only planning on taking Bokor1 for Hexing + Effigy, since I can spread Hexing with PD’s Pandemic. Possession + Hexing/Pandemic/Effigy + Incineration for my aoe rotation.

So it was Cleric2-Bokor1-Sadhu2-x-PD

I chose Bokor2 so that I can get a bit more damage on Effigy + Mackangdal (which will let me spam Effigy+OOB), but was advised that Bwa is still useful as a CC skill. But apparently it is a channeling skill? So I can’t use other skills during Bwa?

I’m only at Bokor C1 right now so I have plenty of time to change my mind for rank 6.

Simple question i need to know: CAN DAMBALLA CRIT? and Damballa escales from Attack, STR?

Damballa can’t crit, because Damballa is magic, and magic can’t crit. It scales off of Magic ATK and Elemental DMG.

hmmm, when i think about zombie capsule again…with 27 cd per zombie, to stack up 8 zombie (lv4) will take me about 216 sec (3,6 minute)…not efficient on GvG (long duration game)

So apparently if I keep my zombies healed while queued for instances, I get them all back after the instance. What Ive been doing is mass healing my zombies as I queue then do the first boss. After that, I can character select and back to fedi and get back my zombies prior to entering and continue on with another full batch of zombies.

Then again there is really no point in doing that since I have mass heal. When I aspersio my zombies, they tend to take single or double digit damage at most in siau.

Hi Sixaxis,

Please help me shed some light (or Darkness since bokor is dark lol) regarding my options for build end game. I tried posting in the forums and no one seems to respond. Seeing that you are very knowledgeable please advise on this:

Currently, my class build is Cleric C2 > Krivis C2 > ? > ? > ?

I know some of you hate Krivis but I just love to incorporate it on my build and knowing this, which would be the most viable class for next ranks that are good overall in ET/PVE and at least can hold its own on PVP/GVG.

Option 1:
Cleric C2 > Krivis C3 > Druid C1 > Druid C2/PD
I have read that Krivis C3 has melstsis which is good on ET with a diev skill combo but I am also afraid that zaibas lvl 15 will fall off and that the druid carnivory will fall off as well end game since they are not ‘true AOE’ so I am not sure if this can be good via PVE. But for PVP, I think telepath is good. instant kill one on one but not sure when it comes to GVG. How does it scales in GVG?

Option 2:
Cleric C2 > Krivis C2 > Bokor C2 > PD
This build utilizes the synergy of bokor and PD for their skills interactions but is having aoe effigy on level 200+ not gonna fall off in terms of damage? I do not plan on focusing on zombies but only on hex and effigy. Also, is this any good when it comes to PVP and GVG? Is this gonna pass ET?

Hi Dexter,

Let’s see:

That Melstis + Ausrine combo is nice, and going under the assumption it won’t be nerf’d this summer, it’s (one of) the most viable partnering we’ll see for getting up to ET floor 20. Zaibas technically does become ‘True AoE’ with the Krivis C2 Attribute, although it’s not comparable to Wizard’s AoE skills. As for Telepath, yeah it’s a killer in 2v2 Arena and nice in 5v5, but I don’t see you catching people off guard with it in GvG often unless they’re just straight disorganized and running around not in groups. Plague Doc would take priority over Druid C2.

No, it won’t. Although it comes with a heavy price in SP consumption, Effigy will still scale better into end-game than majority of the other Cleric Tree skills because of it’s Multiplier Bonus damage. Not focusing on Zombies is fine, but you should still have a few points into their skills for PvE use and this won’t gimp your PvP capabilities.

At the “Is this gonna pass ET?” question, if you’re asking if you’ll be able to complete it, that’s on you and the rest of your teammates. So far I’ve only heard of one team even reaching the last floor and it was the Krivis / Diev combo mentioned earlier. Once they fix floor 7 in our version, we’ll see what other teams can complete it over here.

As for PvP/GvG, I’ve only done PvP Arena and field GvG; no GvG Arena. In the ones I personally experienced (And watched vids of), I had no problem killing, but I can’t say the same for GvG Arena if you were going up against a good guild. 3 organized Plague Doctors on the enemy team with Bloodletting (Even considering the Plague Doctor nerf in there) could shut you down for awhile from using Hexing, so the DPS from the Bokor part of you would be rendered null on those targets. Other than that, you’re mostly fine.

Lol. you got that. Dexter’s Lab x Dexter TV series.

I think this is nice but taking Krivis C3 for that purpose alone without having any other good that will come from it since zaiba will fall off for high hp monster (as what others said) might not be a win-win for me.

Yes, I am slowly considering my options regarding bokor. Actually it was because reading your comments regarding bokor that I had a change of heart for krivis C3. But the thing is can I consider bokor C1 > Druid > PD instead to get more AOE? Will bokor C1 hex and effigy gonna be keep up with my int stats late game and still dish out some nice damage in my skill rotation? This also allows me to use a druid for additional damage. What do you think on this one?

I am starting to think that only Dievs are beloved by the ET. Given that can we still reach a good level without paying much attention to ET or are we going to really need it?

Well, it all depends on what you have prioritized. If you’re really committed to finishing ET, then Krivis C3 would be your safer bet (not your only), provided that you have a Diev C3 to run with. Otherwise, by all means, lower it to C2. Zaibas, like Cure / Carve / Possession / C1 Monk skills / etc. will lose killing capability at the R7 stage, but you’ll still be using it in your rotation then regardless.

It would dish out “okay” damage, but nothing impressive even with Pandemic turning it into an AoE.

Nah, that immortality combo definitely isn’t a necessity to progress, and definitely isn’t a necessity to complete it; it’s just the only one shown thus far. You’ll still be useful with or without a Diev present.

Pretty sure the immortality combo IS necessary for the higher floors past 17 or so. In the video, any time someone let their invulnerability wear off, they died in like, 1 second or less.

Of course, if you’re playing the game just to beat ET Floor 20, you’re probably playing a rather empty game, I think. Then again, at level 280, there isn’t anything else to do besides ET, either (no wonder why so many players quit the game as they get near or at the level cap…).

With the game in its current “only end-game is Earth Tower” state, you’re probably better off just playing for fun and enjoying the ride to 280 rather than making a class to do ET, unless you’re the type of person who just really wants to clear all the content in this game, in which case, you really do need something that fits into the floor 20 ET meta (of which so far, only one combination has been able to pull off and considering what I’ve seen of those floors, I’d be VERY surprised if any other combination could do it)

Very doubtful that the Devs would design ET floors in a way that required damage immunity to constantly be up by having specific class combo’s in the party that could pull it off, in order to complete it (Even though they’ve done goofy design elsewhere in the game). Not too long ago, most of us considered Melstis a ‘meh’ skill when discussing it here on the forums, and look how that turned out.

Trust me, whenever they fix ET in our version, we’ll see a different setup complete it-- hopefully before floors 21 - 40 are added in.

Zombie capsule is coming!

I wonder if they’ll stealth buff the 3x zombie stat in too.
