Class balance for a dead game. Can we talk about it? Can we? Do you still play Tree of Savior?

The more I read the more I don’t understand about OP’s way of class balancing.

Why can’t thaumaturge Reversi other players’ circles? That’s the signature move for thaumaturge in pvp.

To lower effectiveness in cleric healing for pvp is to decrease the % of hp side and increase the bonus side from int/hp recovery. So support clerics in pvp still need to stat a good amount of int to get good heals instead of stacking only CON and still get fantastic 5% per tile heals.

When i was talking about Thaumas i was thinking of him stealing magic circles of random people in a world boss fight. Not in pvp.
For pvp he is free to Reversi whatever he wants.

That’s the way thaumaturge reverse other players’ circles to boost his damage, isn’t it? Don’t really see what is wrong with that especially if when player dedicate 2 circles into thaumaturge just to get reversi.

I wonder how OP got his rank 3, he seems to be lacking a lot in game knowledge.

It needs 2 casts and a good running to regen. Aka no one gonna let you do that

Hm… you have your point. I respect that.
But I believe that is wrong what a Thauma can do, with opponents magic, in a World boss fight.

In a world boss fight anything can happen. If a cannoneer c2 launch a seige burst to destroy circles in WB fight, a rogue capture circles in WB fight are you going to nerf them too?

Or when a tank aggroed the boss and delibrately pull them out of the aoe circles so that his team mates can get more dps. Are you going to say “nerf this tank” too?

No to the tank, but maybe to the rogue and cannoneer if needed. Thaumas can Reversi every block, rogue have limits.

Buff Reflect shield so it reflects more than 37 damage. Thanks.

Hell breath debuff has a 5% chance to trigger while doing low damage draining your sp while praying forRNGesus to do it’s job.

Your statements about magnetic force are too ideal once your enemy team know there’s kino c2/3 in your team they will be more careful not to bundle themselves together and unlike cryo

Magnetic force is kino only Cc that doesn’t risk themselves by being lock in one place

Assuming that you are a cleric, and you are inside a arena. Say hi to any skill that gives you immunity to rank 1 cc.

What about Prophecy?

No, but Long Stride can.

Eh to be honest, if you don’t feed it you can’t go on the offensive, just stay near your pet, trying to use rush dog while your pet is far away is a nono, and even then when its stamina is low it’s not a guaranteed insta hit like when it has stamina. Using a hunter in TBL is tricky.

My point there was that you dont need to feed your dog, as long as the skill lands and it does not face death. If your pet kills the opponent there is no need to feed him, because his stamina will be high.

Ehhh your pet doesn’t last alive longer than 30 seconds anyway. feeding it provides a posible rush to kill that pesky oracle, but it’s also risky since there’s a high chance you’ll end up bugued because you know. imc.

he called swordsmen weak and show the 2 op classes (pve only) but cant even land a hit during tbl… (excluding catagoon, tho)

he never tried the other swordsman tree yet lol. talk about the 30% str buff but still cant feel it during tbl nor in pve plays

No problem at all. But that’s what I’m getting at. Which is why I said I could understand your reasoning with things even if I don’t agree with them.

@Ynirie Yeah, either what I said or just removing the extra healing should work I think. While I would also like if skills had heal-blocking since even bosses seem to be getting healing and regen effects. Better yet, give them only to Swordsmen to help stabilize their bruiser fighting style…maybe. They’d still yolo or try and Iron Hook at the wrong time and get destroyed, lol.

Got something to add:

Priest and Craplain: Make Exorcism and Magnus Exorcismus actually useable.

Krivis, Diev, Craplain and possible other classes too: Add a passive that prevents Aukuras, Statues and Capella from being pushed around.

Cleric, some higher classes too: Add a passive that prevents non-partymembers from stealing Heal, Cure, Safety Zone, Healing Factor and possible other effects too.

As for your attacks on Elememe… Nerf Quickcast attribute would kill Wiz3 and nerf Frost Cloud would kill Ele. Either class is played cause of the said skills working the way they do. Wiz3 is entirely played for Quickcast. Surespell and higher Sleep are bonusses. If you start attacking C3 skills, you should call for various nerfs of various other C3 skills too. Lets see… Melstis and Ausrine need a nerf to give Priest based support clerics a chance to see ET from the inside, for example. But that would most likely kill Diev cause the class C3 is played for that alone.
