Class balance for a dead game. Can we talk about it? Can we? Do you still play Tree of Savior?

This is the reason why a full con wiz gets away of having a high survivability while still having a decent damage because all wiz skills does not scale with int but rather it has a high base DMG or scale with raw matk+flat dmg.

So I was reading something:

Grant yourself & your party members temporary protection from enemy Missile & Magic-type attacks.

Max Level: 15
Type: Magic Attack
Attribute: Melee
Cooldown: 31
SP: 84 (+8/Lv)

Duration: 50 + (Skill Lv x 10) -> Lv5: 100 seconds
Blocks: 4 + (Skill Lv -1) x 3 -> Lv5: 16 hits

Here: Blocks: 4 + (Skill Lv -1) x 3 -> Lv5: 16 hits

Why not use this in base in ?

Sigh… r8 base damage is absurd.

Sword man is too op . Swish deserved to be nerf. It had too many targets .

Swor man can tank and still gives a solid dps . They should nerf swish if they wanted to be dps.

According to that logic, cleric’s and wizard’s should also be nerfed.

Ironically the fact that Barrier is scrollable just opens light of day on Paladin itself so you can see how IMC thought of making an anti-mage Cleric but backed out about half-way through and filled the gaps with random things (Looking at you Conversion)

Conversion is not random. Tree of Savior Paladin is based on Diablo 2 Paladin. Both Paladins use some skills that do basically the same things.

ToS Conversion is based on D2 Conversion and they have exactly the same skill effect.

ToS Conviction is based on D2 Conviction and they do almost the same skill effect, except D2 Conviction is an aura.

ToS Smite is based on D2 Smite, except D2 Smite uses shields to bash enemies.

ToS Resist Elements is based on a combination of D2 auras Resist Fire, Resist Cold, Resist Lightning and Cleansing.

ToS Barrier is based on D2 Salvation aura.

ToS Restoration is based on D2 Meditation and partly Vigor aura.

The problem here is that IMC chose just 2 combat skills from D2 Paladin. They could’ve easily added one more like Blessed Hammer and put it in Circle 2 along with Conversion. This could’ve made ToS Paladin more combat viable.

Yes to ranged skills for clerics.
