Class Balance ever happen in kToS?

Just a general question. With all the class differences aside, and trying to find uses and roles for each unique build. Did the ever make a point to beef up Melee DPS to match range DPS and then some for the downfall of being Melee?

But melee classes already have their balance.

Swordmen have 3x more base HP than the other classes. It’s not just a matter of DPS…

And if you’re talking about monk or paladin, well, they have heals.

Things are being rebalanced more or less constantly.
Ranged DPS is winning because archers were on the last round of major buffs.

T.T… i wish they still got old swordman buff… huhu

It’s more like they are nerfing to the ground certain mage circles atm. I don’t think Swordies will get a huge buff when they don’t have any problems with PvE content. It’s just most of the mele builds are not as bursty as dps Wizards or Archers.

At some point Archers were the worst class in ToS. They they got a buff making them stupidly OP. Got nerfed in the end.

Yeah, they tweak classes pretty much in every major patch.

I’m really, really, really hoping the ITOS follows suit on many of the buffs I would consider pretty necessary…like the recent Rodelero buffs for example…

This is true. Archers were seen trivial since their autos were pretty abyssal and their overall damage comparing them to Wizards, Swordsmen, and even Clerics were actually really sad. But then they got their ratios buffed, and now they’re still better off just not as rofl-stomp strong.

Anyway, I’m hoping for a soft Sadhu buff. The easiest buff would be to revert the attack speed cut…it actually really hurts as my animations are slow as hell.

You can still build melee dps but it won’t be as good as wizard, archer dps build.

Because Swordsman can tank better than wiz and archer, since they got more Hp and more buffs cap

I remember once I used my physical link in a dungeon, then our archer with 4k HP die immediately.
