Currently, in the worst case with some kind of spam … The “All” channel was still … Fine.
(Just the fact that it go down at each new message make it hard to find back a message you want to check again …)
But with more players. Like … OBT. Or even official. I think it can be a good idea to do a little separation between different “All” channel. Just coz … Hundred and hundred and hundred of players speaking in only ONE channel is just gonna make it useless.
Separation can be with the different part of the world map (klaipedia and arround, fedimian and arround …), or by map lvl, I don’t know … (first one probably better)
It can even help a little bit some situation whis new players messages can be heard, and not lost in the middle of tons of HL things …
It can make some problems too, probably … But it’s still better than a unique chat where each message just get 0,1 sec in this little window (Yeah, you can make the chat bigger … But you loose access to things that can be under, and with flood, it’s not like you can instantly remember a pseudo, offer, or things like that)
Maybe not really easy for IMC … But still think it can make things easier for players.
