E: This causes a very distracting obstruction in my screen that interferes with my gameplay, I basically try to play without talking now 
Not to steal from the issue at hand,but how DO you chat? I can’t seem to figure it out.
You press Enter to chat like typical MMOs. There’s multiple chat filters like normal, shout, whisper which can be altered at the side bar located left of the box.
