My oldest character, made when servers came up initially, is now restricted to 2 channels.
One of my slightly older characters is restricted to the first 20.
A new character made can access all 60 channels.
This could also be due to the level of the zones, but if so, it may need a more dynamic setup so it can adapt as the load increases.
I believe this is causing extra congestion issues, and started happening after the update this morning (28OCT2015 @0800AM EDT)

My old character, restricted on channel 1 and not pass the loading screen!

channel are zone specific. for instance the highlander masters room only has one channel, the start of the game has 60, the mine 3f has 20. etc

That is where exactly my 55 barbarian was stuck at.
I am having the same problem, except I have two characters on the same map, one can access channels 1-20, the other can only ever access 1-6. Also, when a friend and I meet up on the same channel, we can’t see each other on that limited-channel character.
