I know alot of people wish we had more customization options at character creation, however personally im a big fan of customization being unlocked through achivements and quests, and they will need something appealing to be on the cash shop once its opened, people go crazy for that stuff, if they dont the game might quickly become pay to win. (exp / loot multipliers are not p2w imo, its just convenience)
Anyways, this isnt about customization itself, rather about not being sure how your character will look down the line as you change character costumes, or other cosmetic items you may attain as you play the game.
I would truly love if there was a feature in the character creation screen to preview different hairstyles, colors classes with different costumes and outfits.
The reason for this is, as i’ve quickly discovered, not all hairstyles and haircolors go well with all class outfits, a hairstyle that went well with the Peltasta outfit might look horrible with the Fencer outfit.
So if there was a feature with atleast all the class outfits and the basic hairstyles and colors so you could preview what your potential endgame character would look like i think it would be great, ofcourse if you could throw in one or two premium costumes for preview aswell that would be awesome too.
The character creation itself is fine in my opinion, as i said, big fan of unlockable customization.
