Character gets stuck in map again. Happened for 3rd time today. [SEA]Telsiai [Resolved]

Date and Time : June 21,2016, happened around 9:05PM AEST

Bug Description :

Earlier Today, and also if you can see from my previous tickets I was stuck in Mage Tower 4F around 6:51 AM AEST, and in Thaumas Trail for the second time around, 12:31PM AEST, that was before the maintenance.

At around 9:05 AEST, after the server maintenance I went on my daily dungeon runs and went ahead to grynas trails then to Thaumas trails to farm materials for my archmage bangle recipe.To my surprise I experienced the same error and my character being stuck.

All my other characters are accessible, but not my warlock which is stuck in Thaumas.Trails, I was logged out and went back from server select. I tried logging in all different channels, but the same error pops out “Cant Connect to Server”

I have been farming there for the past 2 days and I did not experience any bug like this. But I remember now that and I also noticed that this started when i got the item, Grynas Armor. I got it earlier today even before I was stuck for the first time in Mage Tower 4F for the first time, as also seen in my previous tickets I am wearing that armor when I was stuck the first and second time.

Could it be the one possibly causing why I get stuck in maps? As stated above, I have been farming in Thaumas Trails for 2 days now, but that was when I was not wearing that item… just a hypothesis. As it is the only thing new in my inventory.

If it is the one causing the problem, please do help me fix this problem. If not, please do enlighten me on what is causing this problem. As it hinders me from farming my items and enjoying the game.

(I have sent my 3rd support ticket) just posting it here again for everyone and for other GMs to see, because I dont want to test my hypothesis out and be stuck again.

Oh, and I dont have any add ons installed.

Steps to reproduce the issue :

  1. I havent tried reproducing the issue, as my other 2 characters are low level and does not have access to the said map.

try what PrinceMark suggested above, and also try to send a support ticket. As of now I am updating my client after doing the file integrity check.

I dont think it works that way, what did they say in your support ticket? try sending another one i guess.

My character still stuck in Lodge but he is Thaumas Trails. When my character is in other maps I am able to access it, but when I go to Thaumas Trails I am logged out and I cannot log my character in

This has also been happening to me, I’ve been stuck again at another map.
Support are probably simply warping our characters back to our starting map, but not actually fixing the issue that there is a problem with our characters entirely.

I did man. Now my character is just teleported back to Orsha. I mean should I just stay in towns from now on? lol.

Not sure what the problem is.

Very true. Have you tried going in to the map again?

Just now my character is teleported back to orsha. I wanna experiment something and test it out if I go there again and get the same error.

I did try go in all channels available man. The problem is when I go to that specific map I cannot access my character. I dont think its the number of people in that channel. I mean its Thaumas Trails, no ones even there.

Im checking it now, going there again to see if I get the error again, and make my character inaccessible again.

The first map that I got stuck on was Roxona Reconstruction Agency East Building. When I got warped back by support to my starting map, every map I went when either randomly crashed and kicked me back server select or proceeded without any issue at all. Though when I tried to warp back to Roxona Reconstruction Agency East Building, it entirely got my character stuck at lodge.

So your character is still stuck at lodge up to now?

I just tried going into Thaumas Trails again and guess what? Im stuck at lodge again.

I’ve also already tried reinstalling the game so game files doesn’t seem to be case here.

Yes right now I’m currently waiting for them to send me back to my starting town. I’m gonna try warping back to roxona to test if I would get stuck again.

oh damn, im planning to try reinstalling the game.

My main character got stuck at lodge again. I dont know what to do now.

I’ve read somewhere here in the forums that this issue have something to do with our IP I forgot what thread was that but after I get stuck again which I would be, I’ll try to let a friend access my account from another IP address.
